Four suspects in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall were taken to the Investigative Committee for investigative actions. They also have the Basmanny Court of Moscow ahead, where a decision on arrest will be made.
All four detained terrorists were taken to the building of the Central Office of the Russian Investigative Committee for investigative actions. Investigators will issue decisions on choosing a preventive measure, after which all detainees will be taken to the Basmanny Court of Moscow, where the judge will make a final decision on arrest. Other options are not considered here.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Crocus City Hall increased to 137 people; several bodies were discovered under the rubble of the concert hall, which are being cleared by rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is emphasized that this is not a final figure; there may be more bodies under the rubble of the roof that collapsed from the fire. Moreover, there is information about missing people who went to the concert. At the moment, 62 bodies have been identified, and genetic examinations are being carried out on the rest. The number of casualties has also increased. According to the latest data, a total of 180 people were injured, of whom 142 were hospitalized, 32 were discharged from medical institutions, and 38 were provided with outpatient care.
As the Investigative Committee reported, when clearing the rubble, no mined bodies or other traces of mining were found. Two Kalashnikov assault rifles, four unloading rifles, 28 AK magazines, and more than 500 rounds of ammunition were confiscated from the scene of the tragedy.
As specified, the detention of terrorists in the Bryansk region was carried out by soldiers of the Akhmat-Russia regiment, serving to protect the state border. The operation was carried out jointly with the FSB Special Purpose Center.
