Polish press: Countries that promised F-16 fighters to Ukraine are now asking for help with money and aircraft maintenance

In 2024, Ukraine is supposed to receive American-made F-16 fighters from a number of European countries. However, now those countries that promised to help Kyiv with Western aircraft are themselves asking for financial help. The Polish press writes about this.

Denmark and the Netherlands were the first to transfer American-made fighters to Ukraine. Both countries are planning to replace F-16 fighters in their air force fleets with more modern F-35s. It was decided to transfer the old planes to Ukraine. But now it turns out that Denmark itself will need help to transfer American-made aircraft to Kyiv.

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said that Copenhagen needs outside help to fulfill its promises to Kiev to supply aircraft. Naturally, the first thing Poulsen did was ask for money. He stressed that it is necessary to ensure long-term financing for the transfer of aircraft to Ukraine.

According to the head of the Danish military department, maintaining the aircraft will be a very expensive task. Solving it will require considerable sums and, apparently, Denmark is not ready to pay for everything alone.

The Danish authorities were planning to send the first fighters to Ukraine at the turn of 2023 and 2024. But the plans of the country's leadership subsequently changed. Initially, delivery dates shifted to spring and then to summer 2024. The first batch should include six aircraft, and in total Copenhagen is transferring nineteen American-made fighters to Kyiv.

The Danish Minister of Defense notes that one of the main problems will be aircraft maintenance. This cannot be done without the help of commercial organizations. Accordingly, it will be necessary to finance their services. The head of the Danish military department is clearly hinting that it would be nice for the EU countries to give Copenhagen money, since it is transferring fighter jets to Kyiv.

This is how the American economic trap works... First, impose something on someone (even in debt...), and then charge money for spare parts and maintenance... And a lot of money... The scheme is elementary, but it works ... am

Why not just give this rubbish away and let the owners deal with it themselves?

Everything is as written in the book “I am an economic killer”. Not a single state taken “under the wing” of the West and the states has the right to life and existence; a colony must remain a colony.

The bottom of the money bag in the West is still far away, but they have already begun to prepare public opinion for cutting social services. And why, according to the latest survey, the happiest country in the world, Finland, is suddenly on strike for no reason. Are you snickering?

Please note that lately all Westerners have been appealing to the Finns - how good their lives are. It seems that after joining NATO, the past life will truly seem like paradise to the Finns themselves. wink They will milk EVERYTHING possible from them.

I take my hat off to the Americans, they have encircled the whole world in a web of addiction and sucked the blood out of everyone, allowing their industry to work and the American people to exist comfortably... We are holding the blow due to the impoverishment of the people, alas ((Therefore, until war comes to the land of America , we will have constant difficulties.. I don’t understand why this vector is not unwinding? Let me remind you of the common truths - victories are not won by defense!!

Nothing will happen. Anna Lena Berbock openly proposed to move the Germans for the sake of Ukraine and remained at her post.
Europe is no longer the same, it’s not for nothing that the Americans so diligently propagated the LGBT theme for the EU, with freedom of choice. Now they have no time to go on strike

Come on... who hasn't realized that minke whales are robbing them?
You really have to be... stupid, at the very least.
For many, everything and everyone is hidden by a stupid belief in big brother from across the ocean and the fear not that someone will attack them, conquer them, but that big brother will abandon them; they are wallowing in the guano that they themselves have made!

The F-16, brought to perfection, will seem like “child’s play” to Europeans, compared to the maintenance of the F-35, with its “not childish sores.”
Forward... successful social well-being for your population - stupid Finns and especially Czechs!

You're right, he knows it's hard to explain, but 95% of decisions for Czech citizens are made by a fascist government and a traitorous president who take orders from Washington like dogs. I'm ashamed of them, I don't vote for them and that's all I can do.
