A MiG-29 fighter with a French Hammer bomb was spotted in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Air Force has apparently received French Armement Air-Sol Modulaire (AASM) bombs, better known as Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range (HAMMER). This conclusion can be drawn from the publication Army Recognition.
The publication writes that a Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jet with a French Hammer bomb was spotted in Ukraine. According to the publication, a Ukrainian Air Force plane was spotted with one bomb of this type under the wing.
The Hammer bomb is a precision-guided munition. This is an unguided bomb that has additional equipment. Thus, the equipping of Soviet-made aircraft used by the Ukrainian air force with various Western-made missiles and bombs continues.
At the same time, Western-made aircraft have still not been transferred to Ukraine, although their supply has been discussed for a long time. Denmark and the Netherlands were the first to transfer American-made F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets to Ukraine. According to Western press reports, aircraft deliveries, originally scheduled for winter and then spring of this year, may be carried out in July.
Experts call the main obstacles to the transfer of American fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine the lack of trained personnel - pilots and technical specialists, as well as the lack of appropriate infrastructure to maintain aircraft of this type.
