The assault on the airfields did not work out

86
What happened on March 13 in the Voronezh region and in the regional center simply must remain in the annals stories. The battle in the sky over Voronezh and Buturlinovka - such a city has not been known, perhaps, since 1943. And since, apart from the governor’s service, everyone else is silent, it means that we will speak out within the permitted limits, since to one degree or another we were eyewitnesses.

The assault on the airfields did not work out

So, on the morning of March 13, massive air-to-ground attacks were carried out on two populated areas, the cities of Voronezh and Buturlinovka.

With Voronezh, everything was as usual, that is, the local anti-aircraft gunners, as always, ended up at the height from which they dropped what had arrived. When I was a correspondent, I visited this unit more than once and am well aware of the level of their preparation. It is with pleasure that I express my respect to the regiment’s specialists for their combat work.

The enemy used Drones, externally similar to “geraniums”, that is, they are as plastic as possible and therefore difficult to see on radars. But nevertheless, the military specialists of the air defense regiment managed to achieve their goals and killed everyone. Electronic warfare specialists worked for almost everyone who couldn’t. And they worked well too.

In one of the city districts in the morning, residents of the house saw this picture.

The eagle flew in, you see, and folded its wings. Naturally, we called 112, and specialists of the relevant profile arrived.

The sapper calmly tore out the beak and claws of the newcomer, after which he was picked up and taken away. And there were a lot of metal balls left on the asphalt. Like from bearings. Well, you understand that the device was not flying empty and could have done some decent work.

Yes, there was some damage to the roof; the falling things, you know, were quite haphazard.

In general, this is how it was in Voronezh itself.

And a formal battle broke out near Buturlinovka.

Ask, what gave the other side this small provincial town? And for those who don’t know, there is an airfield where a bomber regiment was based during the renovation of our main airfield. To Ukraine – 160 km in a straight line.

And then it occurred to someone on the other side to check the strength of our people who are now standing there. We checked.

I'll distract you a little. Last year, the region experienced another rainy-dry season with a subsequent harvest of 5,4 million tons of grain. Not a record, the record was a year earlier, 6,9 million tons, but still. For some agricultural firms, the harvest remained in piles under canopies in the fields because there was not enough space in the elevators.

And these piles, of course, are protected so that the local sparrows do not peck at them. And at such a security post across the field from the airfield, my good friends happened to be there, and they told me what was happening in the sky and on the ground. One is a completely combat officer in the past, that is, he understood what was going where.

Two waves came from that direction. The first consisted of drones. Plastic rattlers were approaching the airfield at different altitudes, but from approximately the same direction. Unwitting observers first heard the continuous hum of engines, and then everything was drowned out by gunfire.

"We've never seen anything like this." At the airfield, everything that could be fired was fired. In reality, the personnel rested their horns on the concrete and decided to prevent them from hitting the combat vehicles. Rockets were flying, zushki were firing, some armored vehicles were firing, and all the rifles in their hands were firing.

The photo, of course, is not from there. Yes, for illustration.

The drones actually fell from the sky, some exploded, set two forest belts on fire, but did not make it to the airfield. The electrical transformer sparked, on which the downed drone fell, the trees tried to burn, but there was silence. For a short time, however, there was a second wave.

The second episode was shorter. Either they got carried away at first on the other side and launched everything they had, but in the second echelon there were missiles that were detected much better, but they were shot down at a greater distance. One miracle of decent size fell in a neighboring field, but naturally no one wanted to go see what was dropped there and for what reason. Perhaps the rocket ran out of fuel, or perhaps they hit the brain so hard that that’s it.

So, from random witnesses I was lucky to hear about how the personnel of the Buturlinovsky airfield behaved. In the press there was a very laconic statement from Governor Gusev that

In the Buturlinovsky district, a private house and a transformer substation were damaged. In the Sovetsky district of Voronezh, the roof of a store was partially destroyed.

DIMC MO issued statistics.

Air defense duty systems intercepted and destroyed 58 UAVs over the territories of Belgorod (11 UAVs), Bryansk (8 UAVs), Voronezh (29 UAVs), Kursk (8 UAVs), Leningrad (1 UAV), Ryazan (1 UAV).

Five lines in general. We often don’t even think (no offense, residents of those regions far from the border) about what lies behind the lines. And behind them are real battles. Not for the territory, for the planes and helicopters that will be needed tomorrow. And when something is really needed tomorrow, it means that today there is always room for a feat. Catching gray and white airplanes flying in the gray morning (or night, in Voronezh began at three minutes) sky and pressing the trigger, not letting them go beyond the red line you drew, is also a small feat.

And here we can simply express our gratitude to those who truly did their duty on the morning of March 13th. And he will continue to do so without a doubt.

Give free rein to a normal person - he will do this every time he learns about such events. It’s not our fault that we don’t often provide our readers with such information, but I can tell you what I saw. Or what people I absolutely trust saw.

And once again with another victory for our anti-aircraft gunners and their assistants on the ground. They do a very important job and may good luck always accompany them. In addition to professional skills and training.

Why Kuev! There should not be a single oil refinery, not a single oil storage facility, not a single bridge or transformer booth. Well, the jokes are over... Well, it's time. That side has crossed all boundaries, both literally and figuratively...

The whole problem is that the Russian economy is built into the world system. Well, how will China transport its goods to Europe and European goods to itself if railway transport is deprived of electricity, fuel, or junction stations and bridges over rivers are bombed? By rail through Russia and Ukraine the most direct route. Offer to take them a roundabout route by sea? Will China then be our friend and brother?

In fact, the increased cost of transportation will primarily hit the pockets of the EU and NATO, which continue to supply Bandera’s supporters! But you can also transport it through Belarus. I think that Belarusians would not be too offended by this.

The number of cheap drones is alarming...
So you can oversaturate the air defense... And even for a cheap drone - an expensive missile...
But well done, of course. The Air Force is not your Navy...

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are focusing on drones. There are not enough missiles, planes, and shells, so production is aimed at them. In fact, 100 drones are produced per day. Basic production must be hit. First of all, those who work with explosives.

It’s funny and stupid to divide into fascists and non-fascists. There is a concept of collective responsibility and no one has canceled it. Members of the National Socialist Party, purely physically, could not capture the vast territory from Moscow to the Caucasus; there were only 10 million of them, without the silent participation of the entire German people. Everyone who sat in the trenches near Leningrad, who worked at the Messerschmitt and Krupp factories, who provided food for the Wehrmacht and the SS, all bear joint responsibility.
And the stories about the bad SS and the good Wehrmacht, these stories were invented by the Germans themselves as an excuse. They robbed and killed everyone.

The situation is, let's say, complicated. The enemy has been attacking the old state border for four days and has significantly increased the number of UAVs. They say that we really don’t have everything, and this is probably correct. Along the border, attacks are successfully repelled, but UAVs.... They shoot down most of them, but sometimes they still break through
The problem is that there are more and more of them. Now between 30 and 70 are attacked every day. By summer, if we don’t cut off communications, there will already be 100-150. If we don’t want to lose the entire oil industry, we must finally cut off their communications.

And if you continue to only fight back without destroying the enemy’s logistics, production sites and energy, the problem will grow like a snowball from a good mountain. After the attack on Kotov in September, I wrote that the fleet will most likely cope with single unmanned vehicles, but what will it be during a flock attack? Now we see the results, very disappointing. If there is a “flock method” in the sky, and the trends are so far, the air wing will have a bad time.

Already, the situation is such that our combat aviation is forced to operate from airfields quite remote from the LBS, and this is an extra consumption of fuel and lubricants, aircraft resource, fewer sorties per unit of time, and even more important - more time for the enemy to react, especially considering that receiving intelligence data from satellites and AWACS of NATO countries allows us to track the takeoffs of our aircraft in real time. And if they continue to succeed in destroying our fuel storage facilities and refineries, then in the medium term this could make our aviation dependent on fuel that has become scarce.

They endured, held on, gave an answer when “There was no alternative to the Minsk agreements,” when “We were treacherously deceived,” they promised, and then did not get married... We keep our fists for those who are now fighting from the state border to the Black Sea. Let us keep our fingers crossed and remember the lies and complacency that have cost our people so dearly. But this is all after the war. Respect to Roman.

Respect and deep respect to our air defense guys and not only them; but Victory, like a child, is not born from one. We need strikes against the Central Election Commission.

All this inspires optimism. But optimism with a significant dose of pessimism. How long will this “great sit” continue on the Russian-Ukrainian border? And waiting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike?
Or is there no alternative to the current strategy??

So we have already heard this regarding the Minsk agreements. We listened for 8 years. The result is known. Will we also stand here for 8 years “on the Ugra River”?

We have massive attacks on Belgorod. Half an hour ago 4 from midnight. Air defense works great, but there are arrivals. Unfortunately 2/200. The whole city is empty. All shops and shopping centers are closed, except for grocery stores. These are the drones assembled from shit and sticks that fly in together with MLRS

Everything is standard. Use drones to defuse air defense. Hit objects with missiles. Today I want to say that the rear did not do a bad job. There were enough means of destruction. Respect to the guys.

Are you, personally, ready to go into the trenches right now? Or, as in the Time of Troubles, give away a third to half of your property and money to a good cause?
Maybe you are writing from the dugout right now?
Is it really not clear that the goal of this whole mess is precisely to throw Russia into a state of emergency, disrupt the normal life of the country, and knock the country out of international trade? In the end, cause maximum casualties.

Of course, we must congratulate you on your victory, well done guys. But those who, with their “leadership”, allowed such ... battles on our territory, excuse me, there is nothing to congratulate. At the beginning of the SVO, even in a nightmare, we couldn’t imagine this, but this is how it happened....it happened. Until there is a powerful response to each such raid, not on some conventional “military objects”, but on the very real Bankovaya, 11. Vozdukhoflottsev Ave., 6. Elektrikov, 3 in Kiev (of course, not on buildings, but in the bunkers), with the inevitable frying of the ukrorats hiding there (that’s why intelligence exists), this is how it will continue. The enemy sees that there is no real answer to the “decision-making centers” and there are no threats of a strike from our side, as at the very beginning , and the next raid makes it even worse. And this has been going on for 2 years now. Fat ukrofazists and their American advisers simply stopped being afraid of the Russian Federation (and in March - April 2022 they were very afraid, remember) It turns out that our Leaders are making us masochists, or what? Is this the goal of the SVO? It turns out that we are afraid of the ukroführers..." pet with a twinkle "? Is it really so? Then we are preparing for even more massive raids...

An electrical transformer sparked, on which a downed drone fell

Yeah, so we believed that he fell there shot down.
The shells did not arrive. It’s time to set up some stations at the border to catch these drones, because they flew past the border, the front line

It's a strange approach you're proposing. After all, then this will be our territory, inhabited by our people, who will also have to be protected. Pushing the border back again? To the English Channel? Won't the pusher get torn?

    Roman, bravo. Good material.

Let me add, in 2-3 days I will “dissect” or read materials on their “eagles”.
We must admit that they “got crazy”: they rivet a lot of good UAVs
True, they do things in their own way: the base is American, the battery? The last thing I saw was India, North Korea, where did they get it...? And your nameplate

Airfields should be covered with both tori and Pantsiry S, and not S-300, it’s like shooting sparrows from a cannon
Regular air defense divisions must also be supplied with mobile military air defense to cover themselves from drones.
We need means to combat small means, and apparently all military units need to be equipped with these means.
