What is the new version of the Arktika all-terrain vehicle?

This month, the Russian company Trekol introduced a new version of its four-axle snow and swamp-going vehicle Arktika.

An all-terrain vehicle with an open cargo platform can be used to transport cargo on both hard and soft soils. Moreover, in the first case its carrying capacity will be up to 4 tons, and in the second - up to 2,4 tons.



The car received a 4,4-liter, 170-horsepower YaMZ-534 turbodiesel engine. The transmission is a five-speed manual. The fuel reserve is 370 liters.

In addition to the cargo version, there is a passenger version, with a two-door module made of aluminum alloy, designed for 21 people.
The cabin is also aluminum, protected by an external tubular frame. There are two passenger spaces and one sleeping space inside.

The car is built on a steel spar frame. The wheel formula is 8x8, the suspension is dependent.

The Arktika is equipped with ultra-low pressure tires. Dimension 1600x700 or 1600x635 mm. Operating pressure range 0,15-0,65 kg/square centimeter.

According to the developer, the vehicle has the highest cross-country ability and can be used in difficult climatic conditions.

To drive a car you will need a license of category AIII or AIV if more than 8 passengers are transported.
The manufacturer has not yet announced the price of the new version of the Arktika all-terrain vehicle.
