Media: British authorities proposed sending NATO troops to Ukraine

The British authorities proposed sending NATO troops to Ukraine. The reason for this was the unenviable position of the Ukrainian army at the front.

About this agency RIA News said an unnamed informed source.

In connection with unfavorable developments for Kyiv, Britain invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, as well as establishing a no-fly zone over the territory controlled by the Kyiv authorities, and increasing the supply of weapons and equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

- said the media interlocutor.

True, in Britain, he said, they realize that London’s proposal will not now be supported by other countries of the North Atlantic Alliance. Approval on their part, the British suggest, is possible only if the Russian Armed Forces occupy a significantly larger territory of Ukraine than now, and the Ukrainian army is significantly weakened. This, the source claims, is what London bases its calculations on.

The British proposal is for the alliance to quietly transfer its contingent from the territory of Romania and Poland, occupying a defensive line on the right bank of the Dnieper.

Previously, the Russian leadership has repeatedly emphasized that one of the reasons for the start of the special operation was Ukraine’s desire to become a NATO member. At the moment, the alliance is actually already participating in the conflict, sending instructors and weapons to the war zone.

It’s not us who need to be treated here...
What is stopping you from sending in an “expeditionary force and establishing a no-fly zone” now?
Everyone knows this, but they are silent. It’s unpopular to talk about nuclear weapons... I don’t want to, yes.
But after Khrushchev’s tests they sang a song about detente, détente, in their words (French détente).
If they are firmly convinced that the tests will take place over London, then no one will take risks with the introduction of “kurpus”, etc. won't work. To do this, we need to check our nuclear arsenal on Novaya Zemlya, first.

If about the Finnish war. You apparently studied it from school history textbooks. And many things are not mentioned in school textbooks. For example, the main military leader in the Finnish events was Lev Zakharovich Mehlis. Also in WWII, Lev Zakharovich defended Rzhev and Crimea, where the loss of personnel was prohibitive. This Lev Zakharovich Mehlis reminds me very much of the current leader of Ukraine. There is no place to bury Ukrainians, but he keeps advancing.

During my school years, Finnish, if my memory serves me right, was not studied in history classes at all. And regarding the main military commander Mehlis, I won’t even comment on this - surely you didn’t study history at the Yeltsin Center...

Your memory is clearly failing you. Because the Finnish war is not studied thoroughly but is mentioned in all history textbooks published in the USSR or Russia. But at the time you were studying this topic, you were probably running around the gates with a bottle of beer and now you are citing memory lapses.

In fact, rumors about the flower of the British nation are greatly exaggerated, and Churchill’s relative did not die there. According to the apt statement of Sergei Chennyk, a resident of Simferopol and almost my neighbor: the horses there were more thoroughbred than most of their riders.
In general, there are a lot of incomprehensible things with this attack, well, okay, Raglan, this is the British commander, it was a shame for the captured guns, but why wasn’t the Light Brigade supported by the heavy one, it was right there, why did the light cavalry gallop in the wrong direction? But in general, the British soldiers showed themselves to be very worthy in the Crimean war; there were excesses, such as finishing off the wounded with bayonets, but they often showed perseverance and shot well, unlike ours.
So, citing the Crimean War as an example is not the best solution. The Battle of Balaklava was the only field battle won. And our command pursued limited goals. Yes, in fact, they were achieved at the very beginning, and further bloodletting on the British side was pointless.

After all, this was known to everyone who read the conclusions after the last NATO summit. Current exercises only confirm this plan. Polish and Romanian troops will enter Ukraine, and NATO will gather 300 troops in the Baltic states, Poland and Romania to provide rear support in the event of an escalation. The current maneuvers serve this purpose.
“The purpose of these exercises is to test the infrastructure and prepare troops for the speedy transfer to the East.”

Currently, society and public opinion are preparing for what is to come.

After all, this was known to everyone who read the conclusions after the last NATO summit. Current exercises only confirm this plan.

I went through this. A NATO military training operation in November 1983 nearly triggered the outbreak of World War III. The annual military simulation Able Archer-83 capped large-scale NATO training in Western Europe, Autumn Forge, in which dozens took part thousands of military personnel. The British air force base at Greenham Common in southern England has deployed ballistic missiles capable of hitting a target within five minutes of launch. The world was on the verge of war.
It’s just interesting (at the moment), during the role-playing game, NATO forces launch a single medium-range nuclear missile, which wipes out the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, from the face of the Earth.
“The Englishwoman” is now offering again, a version from 40 years ago, the old abomination (TBM) will not go away.

The purpose of these exercises is an attempt to intimidate Russia. The official entry of NATO troops into the outskirts is the third world war. They know it. Otherwise, they would have brought in troops earlier, during the counter-grunt.

If NATO officially sends its troops into Ukraine, then all their reconnaissance planes and drones will become legitimate targets. Or maybe satellites.
Which, by the way, is not the case now. This allows the Ukrainian Army to use Western intelligence capabilities with impunity. And what Western countries themselves will not be able to do in the event of a direct conflict with Russia. Which seems quite ironic.
