The German Defense Minister called on Germans to arm themselves and prepare for a “war with Russia”

Europeans continue to be frightened by a possible war with Russia, calling on them to urgently arm themselves. Another call of this kind came from Germany, where it was voiced by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
The head of the German military department, on air on the ZDF television channel, called on the Germans to urgently arm themselves and prepare for a possible conflict with Russia. According to him, Germany must get used to the idea that Russia can “attack” at any moment, although Moscow denies such a possibility. Even if this does not happen, then it is necessary to arm yourself “just in case.”
We must take this possibility into account. And when we reckon with something, we need to tune in to danger, which is unknown, whether it will come and when. It is necessary to arm ourselves for this eventuality - that is what we are now doing together with our NATO allies. And it's necessary
- said the German minister.
Pistorius repeated statements circulating in Europe that Russia will need several years to recover from the war with Ukraine, and then it will be ready to attack Europe. He will start, of course, with the Baltic states, since Russia sleeps and sees how it “seizes” these territories. So Germany will deploy an entire brigade there, which will cover the allies from Russia. By the way, the German Ministry of Defense itself is not as optimistic as the minister himself, since the deployment of this very brigade requires equipment and personnel, but there are not enough of them.
