Ukraine plans to equip a new defense line with underground steel command posts

The Ukrainian army will receive special factory-made underground metal bunkers to equip the new defense line. According to the Ukrainian press, one of the companies began producing steel command posts for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian military has already received the first steel command post, as they say, for “testing,” and free of charge. It is a metal module that is buried in the ground. The command post itself may consist of several such modules, depending on the tasks being performed.
As stated, the modules have different configurations and can be used as command posts, living quarters, sanitary or medical. Apparently, they can be connected to each other, since a single module itself is relatively small, and the assembled “headquarters” can accommodate up to 30 people. According to the developers, the length of one module is 6 meters and the height is 2,3 meters. The design is based on a standard “shelter” bunker already used in the APU.
The assembled headquarters can accommodate about 30 military personnel. The modules also contain showers, boilers, workplaces and places for installing work equipment. The bunker is equipped with ventilation and lighting systems, places for storing electronics and weapons
- said in a statement.
The new bunkers are planned to be dug into new defense lines that Kyiv is building in its rear areas in an attempt to copy Russia's "Surovikin Line."
