German general: the development of the situation on the Ukrainian front defies mathematical calculations

It has long been clear to everyone, even in the West, that the Ukrainian counter-offensive that began last June has failed. And the head of the working group for coordinating assistance to Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freuding, spoke about the main reasons for the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.

In an interview with the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, the general noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to break through the Russian defenses because they did not have effective air support and had significant problems with air defense, which did not allow them to accompany and protect the attacking forces from air threats.

In addition, according to Freuding, a well-organized defense in the form of minefields was built on the path of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In summer and autumn, like the Ukrainians themselves, we had high expectations

- said the general, speaking about the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Freuding added that at the moment Russia has the initiative at the front, but the development of the situation is not amenable to mathematical calculations. Thus, the German general obviously wanted to say that everything could change at any time in favor of Ukraine, which few people even believe in the West.

According to experts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a significant shortage of people and ammunition amid a reduction in Western aid.

It would be easier to say, we don’t know what will happen next.

Was the general a great mathematician in a past life? What was he going to expect there? A theorist, far from reality.

Military actions in general are always calculated mathematically (including losses)

Well, since we got into the jungle of the German language, Freude in German is joy, our General Freuding is essentially a joyful person, overflowing with optimism and happiness.
He didn’t know what to blurt out, but just wanted to make everyone happy.
somehow it didn’t work out very well.

I propose that the Germans carry out a mathematical calculation of the surrender of Bandera’s supporters.

Germany is bad at math???!!! Yes, the system of diff equations that he is trying to use will not give anything! This is what I was counting on... But did he try other types of models?

the development of the situation cannot be calculated mathematically

“It was smooth on paper, but they forgot about the ravines.”
They forgot to include drones, electronic warfare, and the Russian mentality on both sides into the mathematical calculation formula.

Yes, somehow Russians are not subject to mathematical equations. The general could have remembered from his own experience.

Moreover, there is not one for everyone. In the Russian Federation, the “Join YOURSELF” set is still working, but in Ukraine the set is different: they are being taken as bound slaves for sale. They don’t take people to their own people like that.

In summer and autumn, like the Ukrainians themselves, we had high expectations
So even today these expectations still wander in your head, completely blocking the possible appearance of rational thoughts. And again, the failure of the “counter-offensive” is to blame for the Western “lack of help” and Russia, which should have given in and lost, but it not only fought back, but also began to grind down the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine trained by the same Germany.

When was it different when it comes to Russia? The bourgeoisie stumbled on this, they are stumbling and will continue to stumble.

ukronazie army will get help from the west but it will take time.. Russian forces need to take advance of that and speed up. In one moment NATO will need to sent forces from western countries if they want to defeat Russia. I think that the amount of foreign soldiers in ukronazie army will be higher as time pass..

The Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to break through the Russian defenses, since they did not have effective air support and had significant problems with air defense... a well-organized defense in the form of minefields was built on the way of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The German general forgot to add “suddenly” - the Ukrainian Armed Forces suddenly had no aviation and air defense, suddenly there were mines on the way and, in general, a completely sudden powerful defense, which could not be predicted and taken into account when developing plans for a brilliant counter-offensive. The only thing that was planned well was the PR campaign. But by the end of the summer things didn’t go very well either.
However, for the Germans this is a long-standing tradition - after the start of the war against the Soviet Union, it also suddenly became clear that its territories are huge, the winters are harsh, and the soldiers are steadfast and courageous. Not to mention such truly unexpected surprises as the T-34 or Katyusha...
