The Iranian press reports that Iranian troops for the first time attacked the positions of a terrorist group in Pakistan. The Press TV information service (Iran) reports that the facilities of the terrorist group Jaysh ul-Adl were hit in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. The group's main headquarters also came under attack.
The report states that the strikes were of a combined nature. To apply them, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps used both drones, and rockets.
In turn, the Tasnim news agency writes the following:
Two terrorist bases located in the Zargun Mountains in eastern Quetta district of Balochistan were hit drones and rockets.
Iranian intelligence has revealed military preparations by the Jaish ul-Adl group on Pakistani territory. The purpose of these preparations, according to Iranian intelligence, was attacks on Iranian government structures in the southeastern province of Sistaa and Baluchistan, where separatist sentiments are strong. Tehran believes that the group is active with American and Israeli funds.
It should be noted that Pakistan itself suffers from Baloch separatist groups. It has not yet been reported whether the IRGC’s attacks on the group were coordinated with official Islamabad.
