Kalashnikov has completed the delivery of Strelok combat equipment to the troops.

Russian troops received 25 thousand sets of Strelok combat equipment, the Kalashnikov concern fully fulfilled its obligations for 2023 to provide the Russian army with protective equipment. This is stated on the concern's website.

Triada-TKO LLC completed the contract for the supply of 25 thousand sets of Strelok combat equipment to the troops; delivery was completed before the end of last year. Whether a new contract will be concluded or whether the concern still has unfulfilled obligations is not yet known, there is no information. Kalashnikov announced the start of deliveries at the beginning of December last year. Judging by the speed of order fulfillment, deliveries began earlier than announced.

The “Strelok” combat equipment set (CBS) includes the “Corset Plus” body armor of class 5 protection with a weight distribution system, additional protection modules, a set of pouches in the “Strelok” configuration, a 30-liter backpack and a transport bag.

KBS "Strelok" provides: increased to 135 sq. dm. area of ​​anti-fragmentation protection, protection in the area of ​​armor panels of the chest and back sections from rifle cartridges 7,62x54 mm with a heat-strengthened core, increased level of anti-fragmentation resistance (at least 630 m/s), distribution of the weight of the body armor from the shoulders and back to the user’s belt and hips, the ability independent adjustment of the position of the body armor on oneself under the uniform depending on the time of year, the ability to change the configuration of the body armor depending on the tasks performed.
