Ukrainian media: Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers refuse to participate in battles in Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper
Several Ukrainian officers fighting in the Kherson region spoke to the press on condition of anonymity. They spoke about the situation in the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which for almost three months have been holding a small bridgehead in Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper.
Their statements are given in an article published by Ukrainian media.
According to the publication’s interlocutors, soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces often flatly refuse to participate in the battles in Krynki on the left bank of the Dnieper.
- said one of the Ukrainian officers.
Military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces do anything to avoid ending up in Krynki. There have even been recorded cases of suicide among such “refuseniks.”
The officers with whom journalists spoke say that there are cases of refusals in every company sent to the bridgehead. Such cases occur especially often among those military personnel who have previously been to Krynki.
- one of the media interlocutors told.
True, the military notes, those on the front line do not understand the meaning of holding a bridgehead, which is clearly visible from drones and is shot through by Russian artillery. Moreover, this applies not only to soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also to officers who find any excuse not to go to Krynki.
Sources claim that in this section of the front, the Russian Armed Forces have a multiple advantage over Ukrainian units in drones, ammunition and number of personnel. According to them, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering huge losses in this locality, since there is absolutely no place to hide there.
