President of Syria: The fall of the Third Reich began near Moscow in 1941, and not after the Allied landings in Normandy
Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, during a speech at a meeting of the Central Committee of the Arab Socialist Party Al-Baath, said that today the main topic for the whole world should be Palestine. In his words, what is happening today in the Gaza Strip should be a lesson for everyone for many years to come.
The Syrian President emphasized that against the backdrop of the current conflict, Zionism is beginning to cause some concern even in its main stronghold - the United States. At the same time, Assad noted that this does not mean that Washington will help Palestine.
The Syrian leader said that today many people do not know who contributed to the rise of the fascists between the First and Second World Wars, as well as who really defeated Nazism.
As the president of the SAR put it, many people associate the defeat of Nazi Germany with the landing of Western forces in Normandy. However, in reality, the fall of the Third Reich began near Moscow in 1941.
In turn, Assad recalled that at the very beginning of the war I.V. Stalin called on the US authorities to intervene in the conflict, but was refused. According to the Syrian leader, in the first years of World War II, the United States stood aloof from what was happening because it hoped that the Nazis and Communists would destroy each other, thanks to which Washington would take control of all of Europe.
As a result, the president of the SAR accused the United States of supporting the rise of the fascists before World War II. Moreover, he emphasized that even after the defeat of the Third Reich, during the Nuremberg trials, fascist leaders who refused to cooperate with the Americans were tried.
- Assad concluded.
Thus, the SAR president made it clear that Washington pursues only its own interests in all conflicts. Therefore, the US will continue to support Israel, even despite the IDF's crimes in Gaza.
