Footage of Russian units digging tunnels in the direction of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Avdeevka has been published.

The first footage of Russian units digging underground tunnels to approach the positions of militants of the Kyiv regime near Avdeevka has been published online. Previously, Ukrainian military personnel stated that the Russian Armed Forces had begun constructing tunnels in their direction.

It is also reported that in addition to underground communication passages, a tunnel was dug directly under the Ukrainian position, which was subsequently blown up by explosives planted in the tunnel. Thus, Russian fighters took advantage of the experience of conducting positional battles on the fronts of the First World War.

It is reported that the fighters of the international brigade "Pyatnashka", inspired by examples of successful underground mine operations from the beginning of the last century, dug a tunnel to the enemy positions, after which they planted a significant amount of explosives under the Ukrainian fortified area, after the remote detonation of which the enemy fortifications literally flew into the air along with those who were there militants.

In Ukraine they are beginning to recognize the seriousness of the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdeevsky direction. Thus, Ukrainian observer Yuriy Butusov notes that the situation in the Avdeevka area is critical for units of the Ukrainian army. He also notes that Russian troops managed to cross the railway under the village of Stepnoye and have already gained a foothold on the outskirts of this village.

He also noted that Russian units are actively using Drones to attack the supply lines of Ukrainian troops in Avdiivka, which creates significant difficulties for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Miners fight there. It’s a common thing, and the enemy must be destroyed by any means. This was all used in the early Middle Ages. If not earlier

Hello Dima. I don’t remember about the Middle Ages, but I read somewhere that ours use “mole” for laying cables with subsequent detonation.)

Our ancestors were not fools either. As Kozma Prutkov used to say, even on trains you have to leave a gig.

In general, there is an opinion among some military experts that with the development of the concept of swarms of drones, underground warfare tactics will experience a real renaissance.

Well, for example, Grigory Adamov wrote about this, although he had no military there.

In general, underground drone moles are already being actively developed. It’s just that this topic is not as well known as with flying drones.

My God! Even the brilliant, great and terrible late Zhirik suggested this to miners in the area of Avdeevka and Marinka about 5 years ago.
I heard it personally. A century of will not to be seen!
I'll try to find it online, I'm not sure it will work.

There are a lot of underground bunkers there that the Armed Forces have been building for many years. Apparently it is impossible to take them from the air, or very expensive. So they use the digging tactics, proven since the Middle Ages. He made a move under the wall, planted a bomb, and jumped away.

Imagine a soldier in Gaza, he’s already walking over the finished tunnels. I already wrote about this, I warned the Israeli “friends”, Hamas can destroy Tsakhalov troops with companies - an underground bully. Now this video will reach the Israelis, it will be fun.

Here we are gentlemen and have returned to 15th century technology.
Even then, men understood that normal heroes always take a detour. When storming fortresses. At that time, bacteriological weapons were also used in abundance. To the fullest.
In the form of throwing all sorts of corpses over the opponent’s fence.
Nothing new. Everything is like in the good old times of the Middle Ages...

It has changed. Now Jews and others are expelled and destroyed, without mercy for the elderly and children. Now, it is the Jews who call the indigenous population animals. Let us believe that everything will be rewarded according to their deeds, for by whatever court they are judged, the entire Jewish people will continue to be judged. Forever and ever.

Even at the very beginning of the war, I wrote why they didn’t dig tunnels, why when they stormed Mariupol they didn’t use underground passages to occupy the city, it would have been possible to get by with a thousand times less destruction, they usually wrote that this was impossible and impractical, and now two years later it suddenly became possible and appropriate....

How much digging does it take? I understand that there may have been some kind of First World War experience. Then maybe there was no way out; if you want to get to the enemy, you have to dig. But now there is aviation, at least one FAB-500, which is much simpler, faster and probably cheaper.

It's just awful. We don't have planes? Powerful bombs? It seems like they “attached” the UMPC to the FAB-1500.
The situation shows how much some commanders...... (don't care) about what is happening at the front.
