Mikhail Leontiev: Europe is losing its competitive advantages due to its inability to resist US pressure

European politicians blindly obey the Americans, without contradicting them in anything. But they had not behaved like this before, at least trying to implement independent strategies.

Russian observer Mikhail Leontyev discusses this topic in his author’s television program “However”.

The journalist notes that Europe is losing its competitive advantages due to its inability to resist US pressure. And this is not just his opinion. This point of view is also shared by some European journalists. In particular, an article on this topic was published by the Czech publication Reflex.

Representatives of the Czech media note that for the sake of “Euro-Atlantic solidarity,” industrial companies in Europe are going bankrupt or transferring their production facilities to the United States or China. At the moment, the German economy, which is rightly called the “locomotive of the EU,” is in a state of recession. And only “small but proud” Hungary and Slovakia are trying to behave independently.

Such “compliance” of Europeans surprises even Professor Jeffrey Sachs from the USA, who is considered the author of the theory of “shock therapy” in economics. He notes that the national interests of European countries do not coincide with the American ones, but for some reason they do not try to defend them.

Unfortunately, now in European countries there is practically no one to talk and negotiate with. There are almost no leaders left there who are capable of pursuing an independent policy and not blindly following the mainstream of US policy.

Learn Russian, move to Russia, there will be enough oil and gas for everyone,
territories too, the Far East, the North, Kolyma and Magadan - affectionately
    please;
and Russians are tolerant people, they don’t hold grudges against stupid and sick people.

Not everyone. Only with a “green card” are intelligent, smart, educated, healthy with a good specialty, knowledge of the Russian language and who knows “whose Crimea is.”

Yes, Russians have easy-going hearts. But this is why some (mainly from Europe) periodically (every 100 years or so) are tempted to attack Russia.

These are Europe's problems, this is their choice. And you shouldn't worry about it. The only thing is that when they pull back, before the big war or after, there is no need to “understand and forgive.” They will again try to draw out all the juices, shed tears, and howl. They have their own path - to the cemetery of history. We have our own, to the pinnacle of greatness. Glory to Russia!

The Eurodollar was created as an opposition to the American currency in Europe. The European Union itself was an economic machine, a competitor to the United States in various industries. Europe defended its interests.
And how everything changed. The US has nurtured its generation of European politicians who serve exclusively US interests. And the Europeans eat it all, albeit without appetite.

News from the carts is discussed, incomprehensible insiders and in quotation marks military correspondents, Konashenkov is posted, how does “However” differ from the above?

Well, you're right. Germany is occupied by the USA, and because... Germany is “rightly called the “locomotive of the EU”,” then what national interests of European countries can we talk about? Karmic retribution in action - the former colonialists themselves will have to move towards national liberation.

And they'd be fooled! Why don't we let them bury themselves, we'll just watch these as if they were just another show. Well, yes, now someone can no longer buy the coveted Tiguan, but it’s nice to watch how spineless people drown themselves. Soon more migrants will crush them from within.

In Europe, all powerful politicians were leveled... The Americans did everything for this... Some with blackmail, some with bribery... Under Merkel, there was still a scandal with the total wiretapping of Germany... So the Americans created a “puppet theater” called the European Union.. They also planted clowns in neighboring countries...

There should probably be fair competition, energy resources should be low in price for those who extract them. In the USA, for example, gas for 1000 cubic meters is $110. lol

I wouldn't call it a loss of competitive advantage. Rather, reconstruction, restructuring of industry, economy and social life. And as they say, their backs are to us and their fronts are to the forest.
Well, they don’t need us, at least we’ll carry diamonds on a platter for free. We sell oil and gas for almost nothing, and leave the money for them there, so what?
Gazprom is worried about Europe, and when these billionaires are worried about us, why are they raising the price of gas for the people in this difficult time of war? Leontyev, as a member of the board or as a shareholder, voted for this, if so, what were his arguments? What part of Gazprom belongs to Germany? Who do the dividends go to? They have Leopards and missiles against us, and we give them our money. It is necessary to privatize all shares of foreigners and transfer them at least to the pension fund. soldier
Let Europe transfer its industry anywhere, and live a quiet agricultural life, where rural Ukraine is rushing. Yes love

Mikhail Leontyev was sorely missed here at VO.
    Yes, it was ...
Leontyev bet on everyone, regardless of rank and personal fortune.
But who is Mikhail Leontyev now?
Press attaché for a very obese, very efficient, but private company.

We must understand that from the point of view of Europeans, the United States is not an occupier, but a savior and protector from the evil communists (and later simply Russians). They adore the USA, they cannot even imagine that the USA could wish them harm. And their media shows everything in a completely different light: “Have your lives become worse? The Russians are to blame for everything,” which fits perfectly with centuries-old Russophobia. And they willingly believe. This is their mentality; it cannot be corrected.
