In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces are clearing the plantings around Novodonetsk and returning part of the previously lost territory
The situation in some sectors of the front, where the enemy had previously carried out continuous attacks, has stabilized slightly and a calm has arisen. In particular, our fighters from the Vremevsky ledge (the junction of the Zaporozhye region and the DPR) report this. Whether this means that the Ukrainian command is changing tactics and going on the defensive, or is simply regrouping and transferring Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves, is not yet clear.
Meanwhile, Kyiv continues its “successful war” in the information field. The commander of the operational-strategic group of Ukrainian troops “Tavria”, Alexander Tarnavsky, said in an interview with the American television channel CNN that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly broke through the Russian defense on the left flank near the village of Verbovoye of the Zaporozhye Front.
In the Rabotino-Verbovoye section of the Orekhovsky direction, some of the heaviest fighting is indeed taking place since the beginning of the so-called counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy managed to wedge into our defenses, but the Ukrainians cannot expand the bridgehead forward or from the flanks, while actually finding themselves in a “bag of fire.” Rabotino is in a gray zone, and the enemy was never able to break through to Verbovoye. The enemy attacks carried out last night in the Novoprokopovka area were also unsuccessful; fighting here continues today. Russian troops, supported by artillery, attack at Malaya Tokmachka.
Even the Ukrainian military public service Deep State writes that heavy oncoming battles continue near Verbovoy, and the Russian Armed Forces have introduced additional reserves. In addition, Ukrainian experts emphasize, Russian troops have organized a deeply layered defense that does not end behind the last trench of the first line.
The enemy's offensive activity is also decreasing in the South Donetsk direction. The Russian army is clearing the plantings around Novodonetsk and has regained some of the previously lost territory. In response, the enemy probes the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kermenchik area, there are few incursions, all attacks are repulsed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, despite the bravura statements of Kyiv propaganda and President Zelensky himself about the “imminent capture” of Bakhmut (Artemovsk), is unable to advance on the southern approaches to the city. Ours continue to successfully repel all attacks in the area of Kleshcheevka, Andreevka and Kurdyumovka. Neither side completely controls these villages, and their capture does not even provide any tactical advantage; the fighting takes place over the adjacent heights.
The situation is similar to the north-west of Artemovsk. Ours are launching attacks from Dubovo-Vasilevka to Grigorovka, there is a struggle for the heights that stretch to the eastern outskirts of Berkhovka. Most of them are controlled by the RF Armed Forces.
Contrary to the optimistic statements of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Budanov, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly stopped the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction, ours continue to move forward. Over the past XNUMX hours, several more enemy fortified areas north of Sinkovka have been cleared, and progress of our fighters in the Novoegorovka area has also been reported. The village of Sinkovka, occupied by the enemy, is gradually being wiped off the face of the earth, along with the militants who have settled in it. We can only wait until they announce in Kyiv that Kupyansk “has no strategic significance.”
In the Kherson direction, the transfer of reinforcements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from other sectors of the front to the right bank of the Dnieper was noticed. On the islands, the enemy is increasing its efforts, leaving no plans to expand its presence in the floodplain of the river and on our shore. There are oncoming battles and artillery duels.
Military correspondents note that the coordination of our reconnaissance and artillery actions on the islands leaves much to be desired. As does the number of boats the Russian military has, which causes problems with the evacuation and rotation of personnel.
