In the morning, the authorities of unrecognized Karabakh updated information on the number of deaths after the start of Azerbaijan’s military operation. They report the death of 27 people, including 7 civilians. The other twenty people are obviously Karabakh military.
There are many traces of Azerbaijani strikes in Stepanakert, residential buildings and civilian vehicles have been damaged. But the Azerbaijani army does not stop striking. In fact, the territory of the NKR is under constant fire; it can be predicted that after the completion of the strikes, ground units of the Azerbaijani army will enter the territory of the unrecognized republic to carry out cleansing and take control of the main objects.
Azerbaijan declares the success of the military operation and claims that it demands the surrender of the authorities of the unrecognized NKR. Only in this case will the military operation be stopped, as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev confirmed to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Meanwhile, riots continue in Yerevan. About 35 people were detained by police. The protesters are demanding the resignation of the country's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who actually refused to intervene in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. Western countries have not yet demonstrated an active desire to intervene in the current situation.
