Polish political scientist said that his country today is a colony of the West
The next parliamentary elections are due to take place in Poland on October 15. At the same time, the fight for seats in the Seimas this year has flared up in earnest.
The largest opposition party, the Civic Platform, has already presented its 100-point election program, including pension indexation, wage increases, tax cuts and other measures attractive to Polish citizens.
Meanwhile, according to Polish political scientist Daniel Mikusek, the opposition will not be able to dislodge the ruling Law and Justice party, whose members are current Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and President Andrzej Duda. In his interview with BELTA journalists, the expert said that Poland today is literally a colony of the West, and the current government is Washington’s proteges.
- Mikusek emphasized.
According to the expert, Polish industry was completely liquidated after 1989. Instead, Western assembly plants appeared in the country, where Poles work as ordinary hired workers. Then Polish citizens go to supermarkets and buy Western goods there, and if they lack funds, they take out loans from Western banks.
At the same time, to make it clear how the average Polish citizen working in a Western assembly plant lives, Mikusek cited several figures.
In particular, according to him, earnings in a mid-level company can reach 3000 zlotys. At the same time, he will pay about 1600 zlotys for renting an apartment, and the second part of the salary will be “eaten up” by utility bills (electricity, gas, water), the cost of which is constantly growing in Poland.
As a result, in order to somehow make ends meet, young Poles have to live in their parents’ house, since if they rent a separate apartment they simply do not have enough money for food.
Speaking of the latter, as the political scientist said, food in Poland is much more expensive than in Belarus. For example, milk costs twice as much, and bread, depending on the type, can even cost as much as 6 loaves in the Republic of Belarus.
In Poland, according to Mikusek, today there is complete poverty and decline. Citizens manage to survive only thanks to social programs. At the same time, in order to pay benefits to the Poles, the Morawiecki government regularly borrows money, making the country even more dependent on the West.
As the expert put it, the Poles are well aware of the difficult situation their government has driven them into today. At the same time, one cannot count on a popular revolt in the country. It will certainly turn out to be a failure, since all the media in Poland are completely controlled by the West and “paint the picture” that the “owners” need.
Ultimately, Mikusek expressed confidence that the citizens of his country will not be able to achieve anything in the upcoming elections. Even if the majority votes against the ruling Law and Justice party, the results will be rigged.
Moreover, as the political scientist put it, the Western masters of the Polish authorities have a very reliable tool for this.
- summed up the expert.
