The left part of the Crimean Bridge, which was damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian naval forces drones July 17, reopened to vehicle traffic.

The fact that all restoration work to replace the span has been completed is written by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin in his TG channel.

According to the official, it was possible to introduce the left side of the road part of the Crimean Bridge even one day earlier than the deadline announced at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. In general, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that it took a total of 59 days to restore the first span.

Meanwhile, Khusnullin emphasized that today, although important, only part of the work has been completed. The restoration of the second span still remains ahead, which is planned to be completed by November 1.

The official noted that it was possible to complete such a complex job, and even ahead of schedule, solely thanks to the high qualifications and coordination of the builders, who began restoring the facility on the day of the terrorist attack and worked around the clock until today.

Let us recall that the attack by Ukrainian naval drones occurred on July 17, exactly the day before the expiration of the grain deal, which Russia did not intend to renew until the conditions promised by the intermediaries regarding the export of our agricultural products were fulfilled. Probably, in Kyiv for the last time they decided to use the still existing “green corridor”. After all, there have already been similar attempts before.
