Russian volunteers shot down a Czech UAV flying to Energodar worth half a million euros from MANPADS

The photo is illustrative.

Over the Kakhovka reservoir, Russian soldiers shot down a Czech-made Primoco One unmanned aerial vehicle from a MANPADS. RIA reports this News, referring to the story of the commander of the “Bars-10” detachment with the call sign “Saturn”.

The enemy drone was flying towards Energodar. While flying over the shallowed reservoir, it was spotted by volunteers from the Bars-10 detachment, who shot down the drone with a MANPADS. The drone fell on the territory of the reservoir itself. Now there is no more water in this place of the former reservoir, but its bottom has not yet dried out and looks more like a swamp.

We, realizing that the downed Czech drone was an important object for study, tried to get it. We had to do it crawling, because the soil could not support the weight of a person, we tried to get there four times. As a result, with the help of ingenuity and ropes, it was possible to assemble all the parts, including the engine, and deliver them to the location

- told RIA News commander of the Bars-10 detachment.

As it turned out, our fighters shot down a Primoco One unmanned aerial vehicle made in the Czech Republic. In 2020, the Czech Republic presented this aircraft-type UAV designed for reconnaissance and surveillance.

There are 2019 of these in 6 drones were transferred to Ukraine by Luxembourg. Earlier, information appeared in the media about the acquisition from the Czech Republic of several such drones one of the countries of Western Europe. This was probably Luxembourg, which then handed over the drones to Kyiv. The total cost of the drones transferred to Ukraine is more than 3,3 million euros, and the cost of one drone is 550 thousand euros.

The downed drone will be handed over by Russian military personnel for study to specialized organizations involved in unmanned aerial vehicles.

And you, with your poor comment, directly increased the information content of the site. You cissosshniks with your really rubbish comments have already got it, a year and a half ago it was fun to poke at you at least. And now ... It seems that those who are smarter have already dumped them in Europe, they calibrated the not very smart ones, there are "excellent students" "from Kolomyia Pid", I had such in a platoon in the late 80s.

It's time to lower the diplomatic level and send ambassadors to those countries that supply crested weapons.

Irek (Paparazzi Kazan), don’t be so naive. After all, the expulsion of their diplomats will be followed by a mirror response, or even more... they will demand an equalization of the number of embassy staff. And here we will find ourselves in prostration, as was the case with the expulsion from Bulgaria of more than 70 of our employees and Sofia’s proposal to equalize our numbers with the Bulgarian Embassy in Moscow. Only here, even after the expulsion of seven dozen employees, almost the same number remained in Sofia, and in Moscow, as it was, there remain 12 people... And this was the case in almost all European countries. Therefore, think about what our Foreign Ministry should do with hundreds, if not thousands of its employees, accustomed to a luxurious life abroad and huge salaries?

To embassies in Africa, the United Arab Emirates and many other friendly countries. And Z.P. adequate, of course.

To embassies in Africa, United Arab Emirates and many more ...
And why did the phrase from the movie “The Diamond Arm” immediately come to mind - Come visit us in Kolyma.... fellow
SincerityX, we must assume that in African countries we have fully staffed embassies, and expanding their numbers requires a certain purpose and meaning. The meaning of maintaining multiple superiority in the embassies of Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain and other European capitals was explained to us by many of our former intelligence officers and especially the bastard Rezun (Suvorov). But if you feel disgusted by the mention of his name, you can name a dozen other names of our intelligence officers who speak about the same thing. But it’s best to look at the size of the US Embassy in Yerevan and it immediately becomes clear what they are doing and what they have achieved at the moment. It was the same with us, everywhere in Europe, as with the United States in Yerevan... Another thing is how effectively did it work for the benefit of our state? Rezun assured that it was very effective, which was facilitated by the corruption of European officials and businessmen. And what should so many specialists do in Africa?

Like what? To work there, of course, Gaddafi had already made plans to green Africa. If it is greened, Africa alone will feed the whole world.

You can still terminate the peace treaty. This is not a war yet, but something can happen at any moment. And having such a prospect is not very pleasant. Especially for the "belligerent" Europeans

Bayraktar has not much less. They wrote that he had this weak point - it requires a good quality runway.
Maybe there are versions with suspension and for this the clearance is higher.

The propeller is at the back, during takeoff it can scoop up a stripe, inevitably you have to

So that the tail does not hit the concrete during takeoff and landing. And the tail is long for the longest possible flight

It is possible that the propeller blades do not reach the grass during takeoff or landing, if you have to use it in the fields. IMHO.

.I had to do it crawling, because the soil could not support the weight of a person,

And in my opinion, the main thing in this note is the condition of the bottom of the former Kakhovka reservoir. I remember that a couple of months ago many here claimed that by August it would be possible to drive a tank along the bottom.

You can and can drive on a tank, but in zigzags. The fact is that before the creation of the Kakhovka reservoir, the area on the left bank of the lower reaches of the Dnieper was a swampy lowland. So this is her natural state.

And who will taxi in a tank through these zigzags under artillery fire? This option looks very unlikely

Absolutely correct comment. This information is worth a thousand articles. I also naively thought that the bottom would dry out in a couple of months and the Ukrainians would be able to launch their counter-offensive in this place. But no, it didn't dry out. And I hope with the onset of autumn rains it won’t dry out.

One hundred percent, our “Verba” is one of the best MANPADS in the world. Aims at very weak thermal radiation.

Czech reconnaissance drone One 150 - flight duration 15 hours, range 2000 km

The One 150 drone was created by the Czech company Primoco UAV to perform surveillance and reconnaissance missions. It is easy to maintain and has low operating costs. In 2020, the One 150 successfully completed flight tests for military use.

Czech UAV is a completely composite airframe. Its length is 3,65 m, height – 1,25 m, and wingspan – 4,85 m. The UAV is capable of lifting up to 30 kg of payload into the air with a maximum take-off weight of 150 kg. Powerplant: gasoline four-stroke four-cylinder engine with 25 hp. The engine has low fuel consumption and operates quietly thanks to its low noise level.

A high-resolution video camera, thermal imager and laser rangefinder are placed on a gyro-stabilized gimbal. The system also uses autonomous technology to automatically track objects.

The manufacturer declared the possibility of placing a special radar on the UAV, which allows scanning the landscape, despite meteorological conditions, day and night, with a resolution at the level of aerial photography, as well as determining the speed of moving targets both on land and at sea.
