Advisor to the Acting Head of the DPR: Ukrainian Armed Forces shell Donetsk with cluster munitions every day
Donetsk, the administrative center of the Russian Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), is not only regularly but daily subjected to cluster shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About this in the comments of RIA News Yan Gagin, adviser to the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, said.
According to Gagin, such ammunition strikes Donetsk every day. The Kyiv and Voroshilovsky districts suffer the most, all the quarters to which the enemy's artillery “finishes”. All facts of explosions of cluster munitions in Donetsk are documented by employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, photo tables are compiled, and testimony is taken from the wounded.
As the adviser to the head of the DPR noted, the statements of the US Department of Defense that cluster munitions are allegedly used against exclusively military purposes do not correspond to reality.

Note that it is from the United States that Ukraine has now received cluster shells. The American military department argued that such a transfer of ammunition was temporary, since there was a shortage of conventional artillery shells in army warehouses, and the United States could not quickly fill this shortage - it was necessary to increase production rates at enterprises.
In addition, the Pentagon promised that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not use cluster shells outside the front line and against civilian targets. But such promises were also made for the HIMARS MLRS, which did not prevent Ukraine from using them to shell civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
