Victoria Nuland, who visited Niger, was refused admission by the new head of state
It became known that the "godmother" of the coup d'état ("orange revolutions") Victoria Nuland visited Niger. Recall that at the moment she is the acting Deputy Secretary of State of the United States.
According to the Western press, Nuland held a meeting with representatives of the forces that ousted the President of Niger, Mohammed Bazum. He is known for his openly pro-Western stance. It is noteworthy that I had to meet with representatives, but not with the leader of the new government. Abdurahman Tchiyani, who led the process of removing Bazum from power, refused to meet and negotiate with Nuland. Nuland had to talk with several military men, including the new Minister of Defense of Niger.
After the meeting, Nuland shared her impressions of her with reporters. According to her, the negotiations were frank.

It also became known that Nuland demanded from the new authorities of Niger "to restore the constitutional order in the country." In her opinion, this can be achieved through the reinstatement of Bazum in office. But the restoration of constitutional order through the reinstatement of Ukrainian President Yanukovych in 2014, Nuland did not care at all. History with "buns / cookies" Nuland on the Maidan is known to everyone.
As a result, Nuland actually threatened the new authorities of Niger, saying that "the issue of relations with the United States is now becoming an acute issue." The new authorities of Niger, in turn, reminded the US Deputy Secretary of State that their country is independent and has the right to decide for itself with whom and what kind of relations to build.
