Units of the "North" grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received mobile anti-aircraft installations MR-2 Viktor
The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located on the border with Belarus received mobile anti-aircraft guns MR-2 Viktor manufactured by the Czech company Excalibur Army. This was stated by the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Naev.
The group of troops "North" armed with mobile anti-aircraft installations of 14,5 mm caliber on the basis of a pickup truck. According to Naev, these units are mobile and easy to maintain. Their main purpose is to fight Russian drones, especially with drones-kamikaze "Geranium". The command hopes that if Russian drones appear over the positions of the group's troops, they will be shot down.

Naev did not name the number of installations received, but six MR-2 Viktor installations were simultaneously filmed in the images of the exercises, it is possible that these are all received by the Sever group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the general said that this was only the first batch, in the future it is expected to receive some more memory.
ZSU MR-2 Viktor is a twin anti-aircraft installation of two machine guns of 14,5 mm caliber, mounted on a pickup truck. Such a complex is capable of quickly changing the place of firing and hitting targets at a distance of up to 2 kilometers. Ammunition - 300 rounds in two tapes and an additional stock of another 300 pieces. The installation is capable of firing at air targets at night, for this it is equipped with a night anti-aircraft sight, a day one is also available. For direct fire at ground targets, it has its own sight.
