Arestovich urged Ukrainians to prepare for even greater losses of the Ukrainian army during the counteroffensive
Former adviser to the head of Zelensky's office, Aleksey Arestovich, urged Ukrainians not to be afraid of heavy losses of the Ukrainian army during the counteroffensive that had begun, saying that they would be even greater in the future.
Arestovich commented on the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as heavy losses against the background of the inability to break through the defenses of the Russian army. According to him, "taking Sevastopol in two days" will not work, bloody battles lie ahead. But there is no need to worry about the fact that the breakthrough of the first line of defense has not yet happened, it takes from ten days to two weeks, which is the norm. True, by what norm, he did not explain. The same applies to heavy losses, Arestovich stressed that at the moment they are even less than the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had planned, in the future even greater ones should be expected.
- said the ex-adviser of Yermak.
Arestovich "prophesied" that in the future the Ukrainian army would inevitably break through the Russian defenses and "go out to the seas." Now you need to be patient. As an example, he cited the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, during which the Azerbaijani army also first ran into the defense of the Armenians, but over time still managed to break through it.
- he added.
And the most important thing is that the Russians still do not know the direction of the main attack, so there is no need to worry about huge losses.
