German chancellor announces plans to have talks with Putin
Against the backdrop of China's efforts to peacefully resolve the situation around Ukraine and the latest actions of the Vatican in this direction, as well as some rhetoric of the French president, the German chancellor decided to make himself felt.
According to the German news agency dpa, German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz intends to have a talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future. This was stated by Scholz himself, the agency reports.

Recall that the last time the German Chancellor spoke with the President of Russia in December 2022 by phone.
