The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not report anything in the evening report about the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye direction
As expected, in the next evening report, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not mention active hostilities in the Zaporozhye region. The report only notes that the RF Armed Forces are "carrying out defensive actions" in the Zaporizhia direction, and nothing more.
But the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tells in more detail and in detail about the events in other directions of the front. In particular, the Ukrainian headquarters reports 27 combat clashes in various sectors of the front. So, according to the Ukrainian General Staff, the Russian army today attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasno-Limansky direction - in the area of Belogorivka, in the Avdeevsky direction - near Severny and Nevelsky. In addition, hostilities continue in Maryinka, which has not yet been fully liberated by the Russian military.
According to the Ukrainian side, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Bogdanovka in the Artemivsk direction. Since Artemovsk itself has now been liberated by Russian forces, the main clashes are taking place on the flanks of the Artemovsk direction.
As for the rest of the directions, the Ukrainian General Staff claims that there were no changes in the situation there during the day. But if this could happen in the Volyn, Polessky, Slobodsky and even Kherson directions, then the inclusion of the Zaporozhye direction in this list raises certain questions.
It is clear that the lack of success of the Ukrainian formations does not allow the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to advertise the topic of attacks in the Zaporozhye region. There is really nothing to be proud of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the Western press has already become interested in the wrecked Western-made equipment and the heavy losses of personnel of Ukrainian formations.
