President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed by phone with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte the training program for Ukrainian military pilots, as well as the possibility of strengthening the "air shield" over Ukrainian territory.

As the head of the Kyiv regime stated in his Telegram channel, during a telephone conversation with Rutte, positions were also coordinated on the eve of the upcoming next meeting of Ukraine's allies in the Ramstein format. In addition, Zelensky reported to the head of the Dutch government on the current situation at the front and in the territories controlled by Kyiv, affected by the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam.

According to the former commander of the Polish ground forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, the Ukrainian army is likely to receive American F-16 fighters in 2-3 months, but at the same time, a large-scale offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be based on the military equipment already in Kiev.

Earlier it was reported that Zelensky and Rutte are putting pressure on Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to supply Ukraine with US Patriot air defense systems.
