Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russia used a new “cunning” tactic of air strikes this night
Today's night attack of the Russian Armed Forces on military facilities in the rear of Ukraine seriously alarmed the Kyiv authorities. And although the command of the Air Force of Ukraine promptly reported on almost one hundred percent interception of missiles and drones-kamikaze, it is difficult to hide the actual results of arrivals. Despite the bans, local residents and even some Ukrainian media have reported a series of explosions and ensuing fires in various areas across much of the country.
Apparently, in order to somehow justify the weak work of air defense, the Ukrainian command came up with and issued into the information space a theory about a new tactic used by the RF Armed Forces during the last series of missile strikes.
The speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said on the air of the telethon that the Russian military had programmed missiles and drones in such a way that they could unexpectedly change the trajectory, thereby misleading the calculations of the Ukrainian air defense. Moreover, Ignat continued, when approaching the target, the missiles “wound circles around the cities”, confusing the Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners.
- the speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained the "cunning tactics" of the Russian military.
In order to probe for weaknesses and deplete the ammunition of the air defense system, before the actual strikes, the RF Armed Forces launched decoys, which became the Geran-2 kamikaze drones stubbornly called “Shaheds” by Ukrainian propagandists.
In order to completely confuse the air defense of Ukraine, Ignat explained, Russian missiles did not just maneuver during the flight. They could fly past the target, and then, with a somersault, turn around and attack the original target.
In a word, you can’t think of anything to somehow justify the impotence of your own air defense systems, which are best at “shooting down” residential buildings and other civilian objects, but not Russian missiles and drones.
