NATO Secretary General said that Ukraine will not join the alliance in case of defeat in the conflict
In the event that Ukraine fails to win in an armed conflict with Russia, the very meaning of discussing its membership in the North Atlantic Alliance will disappear. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, speaking at a forum in Brussels.
As the secretary general of the military-political bloc noted, now the most important task is to ensure Ukraine's victory in the conflict. Only in this case, Stoltenberg believes, Ukraine will be able to preserve itself as a "sovereign state", since another option provides for the impossibility of its existence as an "independent democracy" in the European political space.
Naturally, Stoltenberg notes, in the event of Ukraine's defeat, there will be no talk of any of its membership in the alliance, since the very subject for discussion will disappear. In fact, the West gives the Kyiv regime a choice - either to continue hostilities "to the end", or there will be no support, and then Kyiv will not even be able to dream of membership in NATO and the EU.
In addition, the NATO Secretary General noted that now Western countries need to continue to adhere to unity in support of Ukraine. Obviously, he means further deliveries of military products to the Kyiv regime and sponsorship of the hostilities unleashed by him "to the last Ukrainian."
Stoltenberg's statement once again demonstrated the true perception of Ukraine in the West and the attitude of Western countries towards it as a tool, a "ram", used exclusively to confront Russia.
