The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry accused the Polish authorities of trying to destroy Russia
The government of Poland, at the expense of the Ukrainian crisis, is trying to solve its strategic task aimed at destroying the Russian Federation as an independent state. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the statements of the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki
During the briefing, Zakharova stressed that Poland seeks to use Ukraine to solve its own geopolitical tasks, which are to destroy Russia as an independent state. The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also added that the EU includes states located outside the geographical boundaries of Europe, thereby pointing to the "failure of Western education" and the low level of knowledge in the field of geography of some representatives of the authorities of the EU countries.
Earlier, the head of the Polish government said that the armed conflict in Ukraine provides an opportunity to change the geopolitical map of Europe and expand the influence of the European Union on the geographical boundaries of the European continent. Morawiecki expressed the hope that as a result of the Ukrainian crisis, "Ukraine will gain sovereignty and become free, Poland will be able to ensure security on its borders, and all of Europe, no longer threatened by Russian imperialism, will have centuries of peace."
Morawiecki also added that the Ukrainian crisis gives the European Union the opportunity to "draw Ukraine, and possibly, after a certain period of time, Belarus into the orbit of European structures." However, Ukraine, through its sad experience, is already aware of what it means to be drawn into the orbit of European integration and what consequences this leads to.
