The Minister of Defense of Belarus highly appreciated the adoption by the country of the Russian S-400 air defense systems
The Minister of Defense of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, highly appreciated the adoption by his country of the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM). Moscow's deliveries of such military and technical means, the head of the Belarusian defense department noted, are vital for Minsk.
Our country received another set of the S-400 Triumph complex. It will contribute not only to strengthening the air borders of Belarus, but also to act as a serious defense of the borders of the Union State

At the same time, Khrenin believes, measures to strengthen the defense potential of the Republic of Belarus (RB) are not only timely, but also very important, especially in the face of aggressive rhetoric from the West, along with the plans of Poland and the Baltic countries to strengthen their military potential, including the use of offensive weapons.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported that the head of the country's military department personally went to look at the new S-400 air defense system supplied by Russia. As specified in the ministry, he assessed the process of preparing the unit for entry into combat duty, as well as the ability of personnel to perform tasks as intended.
Recall that before sending the aforementioned complex to Belarus, Belarusian anti-aircraft gunners underwent a full training course at Russian training grounds, as previously reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
