Podolyak: The counteroffensive will be adjusted due to the situation at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station
The sabotage at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, which occurred on the night of June 6 and destroyed the dam at this station, led to accusations that each side of the Ukrainian conflict addresses its opponents. However, it should be noted that the situation that has arisen at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station can play into the hands of Kyiv regarding the launched counteroffensive.
So, according to the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak, the explosion at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station caused a revision of Kyiv's plans for a counteroffensive. He noted that certain adjustments would be made to the counteroffensive plan, without specifying which ones. It can be assumed that in Kyiv, referring to the incident with the dam, they simply once again decided to delay the start of their offensive, if, of course, there will be one at all.
Although Podolyak said that Ukraine has no “option not to attack”, so far Kyiv is feeding everyone with promises, and the offensive, which was previously called spring, has already become summer, and there it’s not far until autumn ...
The huge funds allocated by the West for the armament of Ukraine, for which it is necessary to answer to the taxpayers, had to be somehow justified, and therefore the notorious Ukrainian offensive had been announced for several months. However, after the incident at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, Kyiv may continue to delay it, knocking out new funds from the West. The question is, to whom, after all, was the undermining of the dam beneficial? ..
