President Ebrahim Raisi: US in decline as new order emerges
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized that a new world order is being formed and said that Iran will be one of the main players in this new order as the power of the United States continues to wane.
President Raisi made the announcement while speaking at a ceremony marking the 34th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini. He said that the ideas of Imam Khomeini led to a major development in the world political arena, and his revolution changed all political equations and gave rise to a new world order.
All indications of the unilateralism of the United States show that it is in decline, and new powers, regional organizations, are on the rise around the world, especially in Asia. There is no doubt that the Islamic Revolution is an important player in this new order.

He said that those who claim power now recognize the growing power of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the entire Global South. Tehran's power in the region is undeniable, and no equation can be formed except with the participation of Iran.
We have repeatedly stated that we are ready to establish relations with countries that have declared their readiness to have relations with Iran. However, we will resist those countries that may want to oppose us or are already opposing us.

He noted that the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, clearly analyzed the root cause of the hostilities against the Islamic Republic, saying that the enemies conspire against Iran because it is a progressive country.
Noting that a White House official acknowledged that the so-called maximum pressure policy on Iran had failed miserably, Raisi said:
It was you, the people, who thwarted and lifted the sanctions that were imposed on Iran by the US and its allies.
Referring to the riots in Iran provoked by the West last year, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the planning of the riots last fall was carried out in the think tanks of Western countries.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that enemies seek to disappoint Iranian youth in government by highlighting the country's problems and instead underestimating the country's achievements.
As an example, he pointed to the great achievements in technology in Iran and emphasized that there are various and promising developments in the country that signal a bright future.
Ayatollah Khamenei also called on officials and organizations to strengthen the faith and hope of the Iranian people.
