A rally against the cancellation of May 9 Victory Day is held in the capital of Moldova

Today, June 3, a rally is held in the capital of Moldova in support of the preservation of Victory Day in the republic. Hundreds of citizens came out with the flags of their country and the Soviet Union, marching through the streets of Chisinau. Participants of the action shout out the slogans “Thank you grandfather for the Victory!, May 9 is Victory Day, we remember, we are proud”, and also carry posters with the inscription “Maya, do not steal victory over fascism”.

The action started at the square of the railway station, and from there the column went to the city center.

Representatives of Moldovan opposition parties also take part in the rally, including the Shor party, which organized the event. All of them express dissatisfaction with the ongoing attempts by the authorities to rewrite history and cancel the celebration of May 9th.

Here is what follows from the statement of this political formation:

Preserving the memory of the feat of our ancestors is not only our common historical responsibility, but also a sacred duty to future generations. For this reason, we express our resolute “no” to all attempts by the current leadership of the republic to distort history and destroy the memory of our liberators.

It should be noted that at the end of May, the deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova from the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) Bogdan Tirdea announced that the ruling Action and Solidarity party had submitted to the legislative body of the country a draft law providing for the renaming of Victory Day and the postponement of its celebration to May 8.

By the way, a similar rally was held last week in front of the parliament building, organized by the opposition PSRM, whose leader was again elected former President of Moldova Igor Dodon.

For reference: during the Great Patriotic War, about 400 thousand natives of the Moldavian SSR fought in the Red Army. More than half of them (250 thousand people) were awarded, 19 people received the honorary title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

So it has long been known.

Eh ... Earlier, under Stalin, the bad guys were eliminated.

That would have happened to some Estonian president ... um, misfortune, others would have thought.

The Romanians managed to go over to the right side, for which their king Mihai 1 was awarded the Order of Victory.

    And Vaska listens and eats...
    That is Maya.
And she listens not to the protesters, but to curators from the West

Without strong support, they will be dispersed and broken.
    Like in the Baltics

Yes, the West is working clearly and consistently in promoting its "democracy". No wonder Maya announced the EU accession program in 2030. This means that until this year they will legally tighten the screws and clean out (arrest) pro-Russian citizens.

And how sweetly she sang before the elections ...
Citizens have to celebrate May 9,
Russians and Gagauz are the same citizens.
I even remembered the Russian language for this.
        But the elections are over.
Turns out it was a demo...

and also carry placards reading "Maya, don't steal victory over fascism."
So she probably has a portrait of Antonescu hanging in her office. Once upon a time, I was talking in Crimea with my grandfather, who survived the occupation as a child. There were Germans, Slovaks and Romanians in his village. It's hard to imagine a better Romanians.

It’s hard to imagine the Romanians uglier

They robbed, stole chickens, looted, but not as brutal as the Germans.

Didn't regret it! They still persist in their independent Russophobia. Otherwise, banners would not have been written in ungodly Latin.

So the people are against the abolition. It is Maya and Tsarda who are dragging them to hell. The last one is Kazakh. Subsequently, he lived and worked with us. How did he get blown there? Although we do not need such creatures
