President of Ukraine: We are ready to launch a counteroffensive and we strongly believe in success
During a recent visit to Odessa, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Wall Street Journal Editor-in-Chief Emma Tucker. As written in the announcement to the material, to talk about the need to strengthen the country's security and the upcoming counteroffensive, "which the whole world is waiting for."
However, the Ukrainian president did not say anything new about the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly postponed during this year. He only stated that the Ukrainian army is quite ready for it and expressed confidence in the success of the military event.

Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime has repeatedly stated that the Ukrainian army still lacks weapons, ammunition, heavy military equipment, and most importantly, air defense systems with fighter jets in addition for a successful start of active hostilities. To which the answer came from the White House that Kyiv's Western allies had already supplied everything they needed and were waiting for a return on multibillion-dollar "investments."
And this time, the Ukrainian president did not change his usual rhetoric, declaring that Ukraine needs no less than 50 batteries of Patriot air defense systems. True, he himself has little faith in the reality of the imminent delivery of such a number of expensive air defense systems. Speaking to the editor-in-chief of the Wall Street Journal, Zelensky was forced to state that he would like to “really have some things, but we cannot wait for them for months.”
It is obvious that Western curators are putting a lot of pressure on the Ukrainian president, demanding that he be activated at the front as soon as possible. At the same time, Zelensky fears the failure of the offensive campaign, which will inevitably lead to catastrophic consequences for the current Kyiv authorities. Although, it is possible that the streamlined phrases of the President of Ukraine are needed to create additional tension in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces, the Russian political and military leadership and society as a whole.
Not without reason yesterday Zelensky recorded and published a large video message to all military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noting separately some military units. In particular, the president thanked the 92nd separate mechanized brigade operating in the Svatovsky direction. Separately, he noted the 110th OMB, fighting on the Avdeevsky sector of the front. He also announced the completion of the training of new brigades along the entire front line.
