Governor of the Belgorod Region: Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell the settlements of the region

The situation in the Belgorod region remains quite tense. Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov spoke about what is currently happening in his Telegram channel.

According to the regional leader, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell the settlements of the region. In Shebekino, apartments in two apartment buildings caught fire due to shells, but now the fires have already been extinguished by local fire brigades.

Seven private households and two outbuildings, as well as one car, were damaged as a result of the shelling of the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. Now representatives of the authorities continue door-to-door bypassing the territory in the village.

Gladkov noted that in the village of Vyazovoe in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, shell fragments damaged agricultural vehicles, and in the village of Tishanka in the Volokonovsky district, a power line was damaged. Now there are repairmen of the emergency service.

At the same time, the governor stressed that on Friday it was calmer in Shebekino than the day before, when more than 850 shells fell in the city. But, Gladkov noted, it is still impossible for local residents to return to Shebekino. The administration of the region has not yet given people permission to return to the city. The Ministry of Emergency Situations, the police, and other law enforcement agencies are now working in Shebekino, one of the main tasks is to prevent manifestations of looting in abandoned houses.

Recall that on the night of Thursday, the Shebekinsky urban district, which was already actively fired upon by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was subjected to a large-scale attack. As a result, residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged. The Ukrainian regime shows its true nature by striking at the civilian population of the Russian region.
