Western military experts criticize Ukrainian intelligence for erroneous estimates of Russia's cruise and ballistic missiles
Western experts are commenting on today's missile strikes, as well as strikes using UAVs carried out by Russian troops. Recall that from the night various targets were hit in the Khmelnitsky, Odessa, Poltava, Lvov regions, as well as in Kyiv. So, in the city of Starokonstantinov, Khmelnytsky region, an airfield was hit with Su-24 aircraft on it, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine were modifying to use the British Storm Shadow missiles. In Kyiv, at Zhuliany airport, launchers of a Western-made anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed. According to some information, we are talking about the defeat of the launchers of the second Patriot air defense system delivered to Ukraine.
The statements of the Ukrainian side about allegedly all downed missiles, without exception, raise an extreme degree of doubt among foreign military experts.
In particular, statements by Ukrainian officials, including representatives of the main intelligence department, that Russia has "run out of missiles" are criticized. Recall that the notorious Arestovich began to make such statements in Kyiv back when he was his adviser in Zelensky’s office - in March last year. Then this practice was picked up by Advisor Podolyak, Minister of Defense Reznikov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov, Speaker of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ignat, representatives of the GUR command. The subject of the statements was the same: "Russia has missiles left for a maximum of 1-2 massive launches." More than a year has passed, and the missile strikes have only become more intense and frequent.
In this regard, there are claims to Ukrainian intelligence regarding a fundamentally erroneous assessment of the presence of cruise and ballistic missiles in the RF Armed Forces, as well as the pace and volume of their production at Russian enterprises. It turns out that if an incorrect assessment of the Russian military potential was given in this aspect, then there are no guarantees that the military-political leadership correctly assesses the Russian potential in other aspects as well, including the ability to resist the counteroffensive repeatedly announced by the command and leadership.
