In the United States - a series of resignations of high-ranking officials in law enforcement agencies and intelligence services
28
In the United States, more and more people began to talk about high-profile resignations in the senior command staff. One of the first in this regard was the impending resignation of the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, Mark Milley. According to the American press, he will most likely be replaced by General Brown.
And if the resignation of General Mark Milley from his post was announced a long time ago, then the message that two heads of the NSA (national security agency) were "getting ready" for retirement at once leads to some reflections.
The director of the NSA, the head of the Cyber Command and the Central Security Service, General Paul Nakasone, and his deputy, George Barnes, announced their desire to leave their posts. On February 15 of this year, John Chris Inglis, National Director of Cybersecurity, who also previously worked at the NSA, resigned.
Such a "sharp" departure of several key leaders of "power" structures at once in such a difficult time for the United States causes bewilderment, and primarily in the United States itself. Given that the Republicans in the House of Representatives have a number of questions for the directors of the CIA and the FBI, it is quite possible that these resignations will not be the last.
