The CTO regime has been canceled in the Belgorod region, now you need to learn the lessons
Despite all the contradictory statements that are being made about the situation in the border areas of the Belgorod region, it is quite clear that the Kiev regime at least tried to implement the threat that it itself has been talking about for the last time. We are talking about threats of "a quick and unexpected counteroffensive that will be overwhelming." In military terms, it is rather difficult to call the attacks of the Belgorod region "stunning", but not for those Russians who live in the areas attacked by the enemy.
It is worth recalling that just a few weeks ago, Ukrainian officials, including retired ones, threatened Russia to seize one or another settlement on Russian territory and dictate conditions on this basis. Moreover, the territory of Russia meant that which belonged to the Russian Federation and before joining the new regions.
And literally 10-12 days ago, military correspondents reported on the activity of Ukrainian forces in the north of the Kharkiv region. This happened on the very day when the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied some areas on the flanks near Artyomovsk and tried to build on their success by going on the "offensive". At the same time, Voennoye Obozreniye informed readers that there were all signs of the beginning of a Ukrainian counteroffensive in several directions, including in the form of attacks on our positions in the Zaporozhye region.
Today it is quite unambiguous to say that those statements were not a special exaggeration.
Indeed, they are all links in the same chain. The Ukrainian command tried to prevent the loss of Bakhmut against the backdrop of Zelensky's visit to Europe and against the background of the upcoming meeting with Biden in Japan. For this, movement began on the Bakhmut flanks, for this there were attacks in the direction of Orekhov-Pologi (Zaporozhye region), for this, the movement of forces and means near the border with the Belgorod region worked as a distraction.
But the troops of the Kyiv regime failed to prevent the loss of Bakhmut, respectively, Zelensky failed to appear in the same Hiroshima in the "mantle of the winner."
In Artyomovsk, the Ukrainian troops were defeated, partially retreating along, by the way, for some reason not mined (if not by sabotage groups, then remotely) roads. Accordingly, the need to distract someone with its dynamics in the north of the Kharkiv region has disappeared from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and therefore the order was given to break through in the “narrow” place - already, as they say, without any special tricks. Broke through. Arranging not only a photo shoot, but also a real fight. And after all, the group itself, which entered the territory of the Grayvoron urban district, can hardly be called sabotage in the usual military terminology. If only because it was a full-fledged military consolidated detachment with the support of artillery, on armored vehicles, well-armed and equipped, equipped, among other things, with NATO intelligence received in real time (photos from satellites of NATO countries, which from under Grayvoron began to publish literally an hour after the start of events, this is actually proved). The detachment did not hide, but went ahead. He took the border checkpoint and moved into the villages.
And the goal, after all, not only put on more media noise, but still try to realize the plan to capture the settlement. Apparently, the plan was to, in the event of a successful attempt for the militants to break through from the territory of the Sumy region, to occupy Grayvoron, wait for the main forces, and against this background, try to break through the border already from the territory of the Kharkov region - from Volchansk, for example, towards Shebekino. A double blow in the direction of the administrative center of the region.
The attempted outright attack ultimately failed. But... Firstly, there are wounded citizens of Russia (and one elderly woman who died during the evacuation). Secondly, there is reason to think again about how strong the castles on our borders are. And all this gives reason to talk again and again about the necessary conclusions, about the need to learn lessons competently. Indeed, after the incident with the breakthrough of the enemy's DRG in the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region, it turned out that the lessons, if learned, were not even good.
What is at the moment?
Information continues to come in that Ukrainian militants were defeated in the Grayvoron urban district - up to 70 were destroyed. But at the same time, information is coming in about the continued growth in the concentration of enemy forces and means in adjacent areas - in the Sumy and Kharkov regions. So, they may well try again to break where it is thin. Or already nowhere thin? - I would like to believe.
The governor of the Belgorod region, meanwhile, reports that the CTO regime (counter-terrorist operation) has been canceled on the territory of the region. Published corresponding document. And again, I would like to count on the fact that the abolition of CTO will not become a signal for the enemy that it is possible to repeat his sortie.
