The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to refute the disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to refute the information about the disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny, claiming that he is in place and has not gone anywhere. At the same time, no evidence of this has yet been presented, all published photographs are old.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar officially stated that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny is at his workplace and she allegedly “just talked” with him. She called the statements about the disappearance of the general "disinformation" launched by the Russian special services in order to demoralize the Ukrainian army. But Malyar could not provide any evidence for her words.
- she wrote in her TG channel.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian sources report that Zaluzhny is in serious condition after being wounded when a Russian missile arrived at the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region, in early May, where he was holding a meeting. The general underwent several complex operations, but no one gives a guarantee that he will survive. At least, he will not return to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soon Zelensky will be forced to appoint a new commander in chief.
Zaluzhny's wound in Kyiv is hidden, some old photographs are published, stating that he is allegedly on vacation. And this is on the eve of the counteroffensive. The West knows about Zaluzhny, but forbids disclosing information about him, as this could undermine the morale of the Ukrainian army, in which Zaluzhny enjoyed authority. Most likely, the new commander-in-chief will be the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrky, he has long been aiming for this position.
