Former adviser to the US Department of Defense about the strike on the Patriot air defense system in Kyiv: “I am sure that we lost our military there”
As a result of a recent strike by a hypersonic missile "Dagger" of the RF Armed Forces on the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system in Kyiv, servicemen of the American army could die. Such a result of the Russian attack was suggested by the former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense, retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor, who gave an interview to the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
The analyst does not rule out that the maintenance of the complex hit by a Russian missile could be carried out by American military personnel. Although officially this, of course, was not advertised, but there is a very high probability that it was so. To maintain such complex air defense systems, a lot of experience is required, which Ukrainian military personnel could not get at short-term courses. It is likely that the calculations of the air defense system could indeed include American military personnel - either retired or even active.
Douglas McGregor said.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as a result of the Russian missile strike, five launchers and a Patriot air defense radar were destroyed. The Ukrainian command for a long time tried to hide the very fact of the strike on the air defense system, but then even the Pentagon recognized the strike, but stated that the launcher was allegedly only damaged and had already allegedly been repaired, with American help, of course.
As for the likelihood of the death of the American military as a result of a strike on the Patriot, the citizens of the United States must understand: the more their country integrates into the armed conflict in Ukraine, the greater will be the human losses of the American side.
