The British press predicted further actions of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Western air defense systems after the defeat of the Patriot complex
After stories with the destruction of the US-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system by the Russian Kinzhal missile, the command of the Ukrainian armed forces will move the air defense systems transferred by the West. The British edition of The Express writes about this, citing a comment by an unnamed senior official of the US administration.
According to a US official, the Ukrainian command will have to move Western-made air defense systems in order to reduce the likelihood of hitting new Patriot crews in the foreseeable future. In addition, a representative of the US administration admitted the possibility of delivering new launchers for the Patriot air defense system, even though Russia managed to eliminate one of the complex's crews.
Another thing is that Russian intelligence, and this is recognized by Western experts as well, is working well. Therefore, it is unlikely that it will be difficult to determine new locations for Western-made anti-aircraft missile systems.
Recall that on Tuesday, a missile attack by the Russian Armed Forces on the locations of military equipment of the Kyiv regime destroyed the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system in Kyiv. The Ukrainian authorities tried to refute this information, but now even the American press writes that the SAM crew was indeed hit by the Kinzhal hypersonic missile.
It should be noted that today the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadim Skibitsky, admitted that recently the Russian Armed Forces have been trying to launch missile strikes precisely against clusters of weapons and military equipment intended to participate in the announced counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as against air defense systems transferred by Western countries .
