Western media: Belgium has joined NATO's "fighter coalition" to train Ukrainian military pilots

The Belgian authorities decided to join the country in the so-called "fighter coalition" of European states, created to ensure the training of Ukrainian pilots to pilot Western-made fighter aircraft. About it writes the publication De Morgen.

According to the Belgian newspaper, now Brussels intends to assist Ukraine in training pilots. Recall that they want to train Ukrainian military pilots to fly F-16 fighter aircraft. France and Great Britain have previously declared their desire to help Ukraine in the training of fighter pilots.

At the same time, almost all of Ukraine's allies have so far refused to transfer their F-16 aircraft to it. The Belgian authorities also ruled out the possibility of supplying fighter jets, since, according to the Belgian side, they are involved in ensuring the security of both the airspace of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and in protecting the skies of the three Baltic republics, where the Belgian military is part of the NATO contingent.

Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced the lack of opportunities for the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine. The British military department, in turn, recalled that the training of pilots would take considerable time, and London also did not plan to transfer fighters.

Recall that the very term "fighter coalition" was first used by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, probably by analogy with "tank coalition”, thanks to the creation of which it was possible to achieve the supply of German-made Leopard tanks to the Kyiv regime, which were in service with the armies of a number of European states.

      let's see!

excuse me, but this illiterate expression was invented by worthless "experts" on TV (at least I heard it from them for the first time), so say those who really don't give a damn about everything (i.e. a sort of virtual resident of the Russian Federation who is confident in his own immortality and who lacks sympathy for his fellow citizens), once again I ask you not to be offended! For the Russian language!

You can not watch, not wait, but do ...
He explained a hundred times that it’s just a chatterbox and it’s not worth waiting for everything to be written according to Feng Shui / according to all the rules of grammar.
For the Russian language ... yes, everything is fine with him! When necessary, you can write in a high calm, and when there is no need for this ... options are possible.
Just a tip ... do not try to think for others, this is not a rewarding occupation.

Well, everything starts according to the old scheme, as with tanks. Who has any assumptions after what time the F-16 will arrive in Ukraine?

Not before autumn. Maybe under NG. The only question is when they started to prepare and how much it will take to shrink the required course. 3-5 months is a minimum, if everyone is directly tense and will work for the result. If slowly and on paper - then up to a year.

As for aircraft, there are no problems:
The Netherlands are switching to the F-35 now, all F-16s have been decommissioned for the third year. Voiced by 40 aircraft as the target of a fighter coalition, the Netherlands can actually be closed in one person.
Denmark is the same as the Netherlands, with the only difference being that the F-16 was launched last year. All F-16s will be decommissioned by 25 and transferred to F-35s.
Belgium - a plan similar to the F-16 to write off, transfer to the F-35. But they will receive the first F-35s at the end of 23. The first of 44 (again, look for Belgium on the map, and they have more F-16s than the stated goal of the fighter coalition) - FA-95s will be withdrawn this summer with 8000 flight hours, and the mass write-off movement will begin next year.

But they will easily give 100+ aircraft in 24. Without losing anything, because they are still written off.

      Never.
First, retraining an experienced F-16 fighter pilot takes one year in Arizona, Tewson. Secondly, the initial requirement for English proficiency is at least toefl70: not long ago their neighbors taught general English - the results are not so hot. I don't think Lockheed will disagree - it could result in serious reputational losses. Well, why on earth should the 404th be given for free, and the Bulgarians / Romanians / Arabs should be offered to pay?
I hope they don't have time anyway.

The appearance in the pigsty F16 is a matter of time. Up to 100 units, they will gain without problems. What worries me more is that ~ 200 modern fighters are not enough for our VKS.

It must be assumed that all countries participating in the training of Ukrainian pilots will later transfer their multi-functional fighters (which they train)?
