Ukrainian volunteers in the garage are developing a "people's" long-range ground-based missile for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian army in the near future should receive a new long-range ground-based missile, but not from Western sponsors, but of its own production. Ukrainian folk craftsmen took up the development of a new ammunition. This is reported by the Kyiv press.
Since Ukrainian state design bureaus and defense industry enterprises have still not been able to create a domestic long-range missile, enthusiasts from a certain PARS design bureau set themselves the task of developing a small cruise missile based on a pulsed air-jet engine in garage conditions at the expense of volunteers. A name has even been invented, the new "people's" rocket is called "Trembita".
As planned by the designers, the new missile will be capable of delivering a warhead weighing 20 kg to a range of up to 140 km. The missile is planned to be equipped with a thermobaric or combined high-explosive fragmentation warhead. It will be used not only to destroy ground targets, but also to "deplete Russian air defense."
As part of the creation of the rocket, the developers plan to expand the production of individual parts and assemblies of the rocket at the level of garage workshops.
Our simple missile is incomparably cheaper than the shots of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems (...) The Russians will never be able to destroy it either with their rusty S-300s or high-precision Calibers
- said the developers.
The declared characteristics: curb weight - 100 kg, warhead weight - 20 kg, range - more than 140 km, speed - more than 400 km/h, maximum flight altitude - 2000 meters, minimum flight altitude - 30 meters. The launch is planned with the help of a pneumatic catapult.
