Military correspondent on the situation in Maryinka: “We took all the multi-storey buildings”
In Marinka, Russian troops are gradually liberating the territory of the city from the Ukrainian formations remaining in it. War correspondent Alexander Sladkov talks about how this happens in his Telegram channel.
According to the military correspondent, the main role in the liberation of Maryinka is played by the 150th motorized rifle division of the RF Armed Forces. The units of the Russian troops are moving forward "without storming", which allows you to save the lives of soldiers, Sladkov notes.

As Sladkov says, Tanks and artillery with their strikes "make the buildings held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine lower and lower." However, it is still not very easy to pass the areas defended by Ukrainian formations.
Marinka plays a very important role, given its proximity to Donetsk. From Marinka, as well as from Avdiivka, the enemy has been shelling peaceful settlements of Donbass for years. The complete liberation of Marinka and Avdiivka from Ukrainian formations will reduce this threat to zero, so the tasks of destroying the Armed Forces of Ukraine in these settlements must be completed.
Also today it became known about the successes of Russian troops in the Avdiivka direction, where they managed to capture the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and push the enemy back. Units of PMC "Wagner", in turn, are fighting with Ukrainian formations already in the western part of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
