Currently, Ukraine needs to strengthen the air defense forces. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, during a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley.
As Zaluzhny himself said in his Telegram channel, he informed General Mark Milli about the situation on the line of contact, calling the situation "difficult, but controlled." The issues of the supply of weapons and ammunition were discussed separately.
In addition, Zaluzhny noted the importance of strengthening Ukraine's air defense, which is of particular importance against the backdrop of ongoing missile attacks on the country's military and energy infrastructure.
Recall that today the US Department of Defense announced the allocation of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which included various types of ammunition, anti-tank systems, air defense equipment, as well as a large number of special vehicles.
At the same time, a special meeting on cooperation between the North Atlantic Alliance and Ukraine is being held at NATO headquarters, at which issues of expanding military assistance to the Kyiv regime are also discussed. Ukraine is represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
