In the United States called the reasons that prevent doubling the production of GMLRS missiles for MLRS

The United States intends to multiply the production of ammunition, having studied the experience of military confrontation in Ukraine, the current stocks of shells are not enough to participate in a high-intensity conflict. However, American ammunition manufacturers have reasons why it will be very difficult to increase the output of the necessary military products.

The American company Lockheed Martin, which manufactures shells for the HIMARS and M270 MLRS, said it was experiencing difficulties in trying to double the number of GMLRS missiles produced. Today, the company's enterprises produce 10 missiles a year, and this is the maximum. Efforts are currently being made to increase output to 14 starting next year. And the Pentagon requires at least 20 rounds to be delivered as soon as possible. But if the company can reach this level, it will be in a few years.

The main reasons for the impossibility of doubling the production of missiles for MLRS at Lockheed Martin were the lack of the necessary machines, test equipment, and most importantly, specialists willing to work in production. The thing is that all the company's enterprises are located at very large distances from settlements and this creates difficulties for the delivery of workers.

(...) the plant, despite the fact that it has the ability to work in two shifts, works only in one

Becky Withrow, Director of Business Development for Tactical Missiles at Lockheed Martin, said in a statement.

Thus, an increase in the production of GMLRS missiles can be expected no earlier than in two or three years, despite the fact that the arsenals of the US Army are practically empty. Relying on manufacturers, the Pentagon sent a large amount of ammunition for the MLRS to Ukraine, in fact, left without the necessary minimum. By the way, Kyiv also has problems with the availability of ammunition for the American MLRS, the number of shelling of the same HIMARS has decreased, and significantly.

. They raised a generation of parasites who have one goal in life, how to "work", so as not to work in any way!
There are a lot of activists, there is no one to work.
The question is ... how will they / be able to solve this problem?

I hope Putin calculated all this in advance and predicted such an outcome. That is, the Americans with NATO hoped to bleed Russia through Ukraine .... but it turned out the other way around - through Ukraine, Putin bleeds NATO and the USA ... they are already practically empty .. left with a bare booty. A little more and that's it .... you can take everyone warm.

Well, don't write nonsense. Ukraine is fighting with almost NATO junk in dreams. By the time NATO "bleeds" what do you plan to fight with? trilinear? If now T62 is essentially the norm at the front.

You won the day for the most stupid comment. "Putin bleeds NATO and the US." And now write, please, how many modern NATO aircraft have been lost in Ukraine, how many of the latest Abrams, K2 or LeoA7 tanks have been lost. Please write how many Tomahawk missiles America has already used and how many spy satellites we have destroyed. I'll write to you directly because maybe you slept under a rock last year, America is fighting this war for next to nothing, the money they've spent so far is a percentage of the defense budget and they haven't touched even a fraction of what they kept. According to official figures, these are 5000 Abrams in various modifications and about 3000 F-16s, not to mention other equipment stored in the deserts. Keep dreaming of Russia bleeding the enemy for half a year, trying to surround one city of 70 people.

The stick is always double edged!
Our losses are significant and without a new industrialization of the entire national economy, intensification of production and other things, other things, the situation may become ... not good.
But, it’s not worth saying that everything is so good and blissful in the West ... they are raking out stocks of peacetime weapons very actively, and it will not be quick to replenish them without the same intensification of production ...
In general, only time and facts will show, prove who, where and how was mistaken or right.

The point is not whether they have many or few weapons. The main thing is that they have no one to fight.
Their bet on high-tech weapons excludes the use of mercenaries from Honduras, who are willing to risk their lives for a penny.
The armies of the West are peacetime armies, willing to fight the Papuans.
They are not ready to die in war.

Therefore, the United States could not start such a war without creating a fascist regime in Ukraine that would send hundreds of thousands of people to their deaths.
They fed Ukrainian fascism for many decades, starting from the time of Khrushchev.

If Russia breaks the hopes of the Ukrofascists for a counteroffensive,
        they'll all fall apart.
When the army of the ukroreich ceases to believe in its victory,
she will hate her government and the whole western world,
who sent them to their death without any hope.

Then the whole war can end very quickly - in many ways.
And Kyiv will buy flowers to meet the liberators.

despite the fact that the arsenals of the US Army are practically empty.

Is it a translation problem? It is difficult to believe that the United States directly "devastated" its arsenals because of Ukraine...

Why does the US need 3 tons of RS? China will carry out the landing of a million marines on the territory of the United States? To protect geyropy, the stock should be stored on the territory of geyropy, for Taiwan in Taiwan, in Japan and MLRS are not needed, if you break through and land a dozen IMR-XNUMXM on Honshu, they will level everything with the ground so that atomic bombs seem like baby talk, you can still take experience of the American fighter for justice:

When World War I began, no one also imagined that there would not be enough stocks of shells; they expire in three months. So it is here: everything was calculated for a couple - three months of the conflict. But no one thought that there would be Verdun.

Who calculated? Ours? May be. But this conflict is beneficial for the democrats from all sides, so they should have known in advance about its delay ...

an increase in the production of GMLRS missiles can be expected no earlier than in two or three years,
And it is better that by this time the reason for the need for additional production of missiles has disappeared from the Americans.

The Democrats would have been better off with a quick defeat of the Russian Federation due to the collapse of the economy, which they were counting on. But it broke off.
Neither the United States nor NATO prepared adequately for a protracted conflict of high intensity, an indisputable fact.

in the 80s, work at a plant that produced RS for the SMERCH and GRAD missile defense systems. They did up to 40 thousand a year, of both types. They worked in 2 shifts, there was no war. And the square in front of the checkpoint in the evening resembled a bus station, darkness and buses signs with the names of suburban villages where these buses go. there were still a lot of enterprises in the city. alas, all this is in the past.

Business calculates not only profit, but also risks. In this case, the risk of making investments in production, which may not be needed, may turn into a crash.

Well, cutting the T62 into metal, as thoughtlessly done under Khrushchev, was cut to a heap of modern technology!

A pacifying lie is nothing more than, I will never believe that a country whose industry can afford to build Boeings like pies at 40 pieces a month cannot establish mass production of shells in the shortest possible time. To believe this is only to belittle the enemy that never ends well!!!

Capitalism, why not take advantage of the company's monopoly on the market and raise the price of ammunition produced? To increase production is to your own detriment, you need to increase the price. And we have an administrative-command economy, which is more effective in wartime.
