Ukrainian diplomat Melnyk: Russian defense industry is producing tanks too fast

Ukraine does not have enough armored vehicles to launch a counteroffensive. At the moment, the APU can use approximately 50-60 tankssupplied by Western countries, but they are not enough for large-scale offensive operations.

Ukrainian diplomat Andriy Melnyk, who was previously ambassador to Germany and now holds the position of Deputy Foreign Minister, told journalists of the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung about this.

According to the official, Ukraine's unpreparedness for a counteroffensive is largely due to the fact that the Russian defense industry is producing tanks too quickly.

We now have about 50-60 tanks from the West, but the Russians, as now and in the past, are capable of producing or putting up to ten tanks into combat capability daily.

Melnik says.

He stated that the Ukrainian army in the near future will not be able to achieve a serious advantage on the battlefield over the Russian Armed Forces.

Earlier, retired military expert and colonel of the NM LPR, Andrey Marochko, spoke about the problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine related to the use of Western weapons. According to him, the armed formations of Ukraine do not have enough spare parts and equipment to repair damaged equipment and weapons.

Despite numerous reports of serious problems that the Ukrainian army is experiencing, the military command and political leadership of Russia is unlikely to relax and show carelessness. After all, it is quite possible that such statements are intended to lull Moscow's vigilance before another attempt by Kyiv to launch a large-scale counteroffensive.

Everything, everyone "wounded" in one tune; Ukraine has no forces for a counteroffensive, there is little equipment, people are not motivated, yeah. Just like they write under a capirka, I said and continue to think so, they drive disinformation and relax, YOU CAN'T BELIEVE.

Ukraine will no doubt go on the offensive and it doesn’t matter if they are ready or not at all, the West gives offensive weapons and money for a reason, decisive actions are expected from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, many in the West have elections and it’s not clear how the voters there will vote, it’s harder and harder to feed them with fairy tales, want real food. I suppose that this will happen in early May, the soil will dry up, greenery will go and they will try to spoil the Victory Day for us. At least they will try.

because nothing here depends on Ukraine.
There is an order backed by money. And the leadership of Ukraine does not care at all whether they are ready or not. It is better for them to lose Ukrainians than American money.

the Ukrainian army in the near future will not be able to achieve a serious advantage on the battlefield over the Russian Armed Forces.

However, the Russian army does not have sufficient numerical and technical superiority over the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air superiority over Ukraine to launch a strategic offensive, liberate Kyiv and Odessa from the Nazis.
And without the liberation of Kyiv and Odessa, victory in the war cannot be seen.

There are two messages here at once: 1. Give us more tanks and much more. 2. An excuse for the future - we did not launch a counterattack (or it failed) through no fault of our own, but because we did not have enough tanks.

And earlier, about eight years ago (I'm not talking about thirty), they could not, by what they call their head, think about who they open their havalnik and what could this lead to?
      And now "producing too fast"?

Little stupid Pinocchio do not understand that no one will feed them until the end of history? Unless America does its best to ensure that the "end of history" comes "tomorrow", inflating the Last War.

Yeah, clearly 10 tanks each .. I have a modest question, but does he know that in principle there are more tanks in the Russian army than in all of Europe combined? According to various sources, from 13 to 22 thousand, taking into account storage, against the background of 50-60 delivered there are not very many leopards and challengers in 404, probably.

As I understand it, do we need to slow down so that Melnik does not worry? lol

Melnik, it turns out that the Ukrainian oligarchs turned out to be less patriotic than our business owners. We have to pay, the time has come.

And nothing can be done about it .. Fortunately, the Americans cannot order us to make fewer tanks .. Well, just threaten with some kind of sanctions again ..

spruce forest: Russian defense industry produces tanks too fast
Well, here again is the factor interfering with the offensive, which they talk about incessantly. Maybe ask the West to demand from Russia in parallel with the supply of its tanks that it reduce the number of its own?

So let him call the liverwurst and demand new tanks. Maybe even rename it - sauerkraut, for example. Or Bavarian stew...

What else could be expected from him? Naturally, only this. Give tanks, give armored personnel carriers and more.
They would also like airplanes, but the "partners" are still crumpling, and the plane is not a tank, it can only be transferred with infrastructure.

At the moment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can use about 50-60 tanks

even a person who does not understand anything in the war understands that this is an outright lie, and the real number of tanks that Ukraine has thanks to the West is if you add a zero to the voiced Ukrociphers, namely 500-600 tanks.
