Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine acknowledged the lack of tanks for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Currently, Western countries have supplied Ukraine with about 50-60 tanks. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Melnyk, speaking via video link at the conference of the German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
As the deputy head of the Ukrainian diplomatic department noted, such a number of tanks is clearly not enough to launch a counteroffensive of Ukrainian formations and ensure the advantage of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield. Melnik noted that Kyiv does not want to launch a counteroffensive that is not properly prepared.
- said the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
Thus, he actually recognized the impossibility of a counteroffensive by the current forces. But it is unlikely that the Kiev regime will ever be able to gain an advantage over the RF Armed Forces, since even the entire European military industry cannot operate at such an intensive pace as the Russian military-industrial complex. And Western countries, as we see, are not going to transfer a large number of tanks to Ukraine yet, otherwise they would have organized a more prompt delivery of armored vehicles to Ukraine long ago.
However, some representatives of the Kyiv regime, such as Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, are still counting on April-May 2023, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine will allegedly be able to launch a counteroffensive along the dried-up Ukrainian roads.
