The Russian combat robot "Marker" was equipped with an anti-tank complex "Kornet" for use in a special operation

Combat troops may soon appear in the special military operation zone. Robots Russian army, equipped with new anti-tank systems. We are talking about the Marker robot, which received the Kornet ATGM, as reported by RIA News.

It is planned to install a new combat module with the Kornet anti-tank complex on the Marker robot, the guided missile of which penetrates more than 1 meter of armor.

Considering that the Kornet is capable of penetrating more than 1 meter of homogeneous armor, a robot equipped with such a complex will be very useful in the fight against enemy armored vehicles and other objects.

- quotes RIA News the words of your interlocutor.

Now the main task is to quickly launch the mass production of robotic systems in order to send new vehicles to the special military operation zone in time.

Recall that the Marker platform has been under development since 2018. In 2022, it was presented at the Army-2022 forum. Since February 2023, the complex has been tested by the Russian armed forces in a special military operation against Ukrainian formations. Robot "Marker" can be equipped with machine guns, automatic mounted grenade launchers, anti-tank systems, reconnaissance drones, which allows him to perform various functions on the battlefield.

Equipping "Markers" with Kornet ATGM launchers will significantly increase their combat capabilities and use them against both enemy command posts and its armored vehicles, including Tanks western production.

They need to be riveted by the thousands so that from this armada, everyone fled from the battlefield like the plague ...

Ratibor_A hi, we won’t pull them in THOUSANDS, we won’t even master them in hundreds, we lost too much time, there was too much faith in the “corrupt” West.

is planned install a new combat module with an anti-tank complex "Kornet"
To begin with, you still need to install, bring to mind, pass tests, etc., then introduce them into the troops, creating and training the appropriate units ...

But who knows where the riveters came from in the Second World War ... Probably, they flew from Mars.

There is no need to compare the Union with Russia, as well as high-tech modern products with the technology of the first half of the last century.

That's just information about the Marker (with two RPG-26s) was already a few months ago. Now the information is that they decided to equip it with a Cornet. In all this, the only thing that confuses is the absence of the Marker himself in the troops. I remember after Uranus-9 in Syria we were already predicted robotization ...

One gets the impression that in the story with the marker: The main thing is not the goal, but the path.
To whom - to do. That - does, but does not tell.

The main thing is not to be like: "We dragged a combat robot from the swamp." There is an exaggeration, of course, but it can be in any army.

How tired of this news from the future ... Soon, it will come, it will be, and so on.
In Soviet childhood there was a cartoon about Promisekin. All this news is reminiscent of the promise of that character.

Mdaaa...! Well, what can I say? what Unless .... < On the VO garbage "flyed" an unknown wrote ... A lot of unidentified garbage has become these days ... on VO! > There is an expression: You can not embrace the immensity...at the moment! Or ... What Jupiter can do, its bull can't! That is, I want to say that I do not consider the "Marker" to be an "absolutely useless" device ... in some cases it can come in handy ... in some situations it can be used! Well, probably, for the protection of objects it will be "in place "! But at present, the "Marker" will not become an effective (!) anti-tank weapon (weapon) in any way ... on such a complex theater as Ukraine! The general technological level of modern robotics in the Russian Federation does not reach the necessary requirements! One could say: God bless him, "Marker"! If it weren't for the "trend"! The tendency to pass off "crazy" "technical adventurers" for "super-duper" creations ... "wunderwafer" ,, Great Manitou ,,! Recently, "pages" of the Russian Internet turned out to be "crammed" with enthusiastic reports about the development of a wheeled "ground drone" "Hedgehog"! What epithets this "hedgehog" was not awarded (!) ... up to "horror ,, leopards ,, and ,, abrams ,, "!

And what are the grounds for such "delight"? I think there is no reason! From the history of wars of the 20th century, we know the "self-propelled anti-tank mines ,, Goliath," of the Wehrmacht in WW2 ... "Wunderwaffle" ,, Goliaths ,, did not stop from the word "completely"!

But the glory of the Wehrmacht's crazy people did not give rest to the "technical geniuses" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! And now, on the Krajina, the "ATM transporter" Gnom Kamikaze is being created!

The Armed Forces of Ukraine tinkered with the "dwarf", but, in the end, they did not accept it for service! After testing, it was considered that this device would not be able to fulfill the "orders" assigned to it ...
And here is the "advance"! Another step on the rake! Ground "miracle drone" ,, Hedgehog ,,! Or anti-tank "Marker"! Well, it's too early for him! He is too "young" yet...!

It's not about the wheels, engine and explosives, it's about the software used. The Germans did not yet have software. Namely, with the help of software, the device has the ability to independently find enemy targets and fire at them

Very slow, too conspicuous and highly centered (easy tipping). In a good way, it should be squat, and the launcher should be located inside the body and rise up only for the duration of the shooting.

Yes, as in an assault, and the sight with a thermal imager and camera should also be telescopic, with the possibility of being retracted into the body during shelling or in the stowed state

If you saw him at least once live, then you would generally be silent about visibility. Very compact device, waist-high cart. And the trick there is the autonomy of finding the target. The final cost and production are important here (there have always been problems with these in the Russian Federation)

ATGM "Cornet" is good! But a "Cornet" with a PPS that hits an MBT from the top, following the example of TOW-2B or BILL / BILL-2, would be better! then why not make a laser TOW-2B? It's easier and faster!

It is necessary to work out a new tactical interaction, operator-ground + operator-air and corresponding software for platforms. The air reveals the targets for the earth. The identified targets are transmitted to the ground operator on the screen.
In the old fashioned way, the manpower department now cleans and focuses only on verbal commands from the walkie-talkie, that is, they act blindly.

The fact that work is underway in this direction is very good. In the future, these developments will be very useful to the army. The main thing is not to ignore how it was with the UAV. The more they study this direction, the more high-quality platforms will appear in the future, and there will be something to go into battle with.

Considering that the main work of such systems is in dangerous areas, in addition to the Kornet, he also needs KAZ.

It is necessary to add the ability to work for some time on batteries in the mode of being in ambush or moving over short distances. This will reduce heat generation from the engine and reduce the ability to detect and target by thermal imagers and infrared missile heads.
